Guess it will be whatever the difference is in loss of revenue ,so if they were plugging a ten million loss and now it's 5 it will be an extra 5 million for example
 
Has Chris ever had money to spend ?

I wonder what he would think to be able to spend a couple of million on a couple of Players ....................

Warnock couldn't spend it, Bassett never did .......

Don't know enough about the ins and outs financially to judge, but suspect he'll get decent backing.
 
More than enough to compete or we risk Wilder being poached. His stock is sky high and he won't want it tainting by not being able to at least compete with mid table sides. He'd be a mug to stay if he's not backed by the board and I think they will back him with what may be a surprising amount of money.

There is no hiding place now for the prince, he 'promised' significant investment when we made the Championship and we're there !
 
About another £2.5m on the wage bill. Between £3m to £5m in transfer fees. So £5.5m to £7.5m in total.

Maybe about £4/5m more than it would be if still in L1. I think that's reasonable.

I understand the boards approach regards being structured and working within budget

However, not sure what that means in terms of player value. It's all relative

If it means we need a £2m striker in order to compete and pay a competitive Championship salary then that's fine

If it means we need a £2m striker in order to compete but won't pay it or his Championship salary then that might be a concern

We all know Wilder and Knill have an eye for a bargain, but some positions might only be able to be filled by paying the going rate

Let's hope the two at the top continue their financial support to Wilder

Momentum is with the club, please don't stifle or hinder it
 
Whatever Wilder needs. To include owt we get for offloading any clinker.
 
CW has said in his interview it will not be a boom and bust budget, it will be controlled, he won't pay over the odds for any player.

all those who played in last 2 games deserve a squad place
see 3 maybe 4 new faces coming in

be insulting rushing players out of the club thats earned this title

I get some blades have pet scapegoats and a need to pick on players though

So if a player is valued at £2m derry and Wilder wants that player and agrees with the valuation then that player is not deemed over the odds, so will he be able to go for him?

I suppose the question is whether Wilder has a Championship budget or not ( I would suggest he does btw)

Absolute rubbish.
There are no way more than half the current squad will get anywhere near a squad place next season unless we are looking at an immediate return to the pub league.
I conclude you have absolutely no idea how good a lot of our squad actually is and how much better they will need to be next season to challenge at the top of the league.
You're totally clueless mate.

got to say disgusted with your lack of belief in our current players
There are players there thats played in the championship before
Thats why weve been head and shoulders above the other teams in the pub league
We have quality in this squad , you dont get 90 plus points in the pub league without quality

Wednesday stayed up without adding too many first season

are you saying we are worse than Wednesday then

so you want to get shot of Fleck Basham Duffy Moore Wright Freeman etc
