I noped out of the queue after 10 mins and ordered online - website is back working now (or at least was 30 mins ago).

Anybody any idea how long I should allow to collect my tickets before kick-off tomorrow?

Also, what was the queue like at 9 this morning? I may call round before work instead.

UTB

On that note, anyone know if you can return tickets if you aren't going to use them? God knows when I'll get time to return it mind, haven't got time to be waiting in a queue

You can but it obviously has to be before the match in question.

Up to the shop by 08:30 someone said on Shoutbox.

Ticket office is open until 7pm tonight.

Thanks. I'm hoping to get down there at some point tomorrow morning. If not we'll just use the ticket, I'm not paying for it anyway

Anyone know how well the tickets are selling for Coventry tomorrow. Just asking seeing as I still need to get a ticket!

Ok. I bought a ticket for my dad yesterday but might not need it now as might be able to borrow a season ticket.

Just go and flog it too a bloke in the queue. Saves both you and him waiting.

Queued up for around 2 hours and finally got 5 tickets for MK, wanted 6 but my nephew hasn't got enough points by around 300 ffs, so if I need a 6th it's another day of queuing or on the phone I suppose. Would do it online but I think my Dad signed up my online account and now have no idea of the password! Does anyone know if there's any way of checking if I do already have an online account? It says don't sign up twice as it will confuse the points!

KKD, I've PM'd you with something that might help:)

Genuine question, without apportioning any kind of blame or criticism...

But those going down in person today to get Coventry tickets, why have you waited until the day before the game when they've been on sale since late Feb?

Seen loads of people moaning on Social Media and whilst I'm a massive proponent of making it as easy as possible for people to purchase, whenever they want, I can't help but feel that some of the criticism is somewhat unfair, when leaving things to the last minute.

Yes mate but going to try after work now as the ticket office is staying open till 7.
Youth who served me int ticket office thinks cut off time for joining queue will be 7pm then staying open until everyone is served.

It might depend on a variety of things Foxy to be fair. In my case this wasn't a game I was planning on going to until last week, because Wednesday is one evening that is a bit tricky for me due to childcare. Due to developments with other results last week I managed to get some cover. Since then haven't been able to get near the ticket office every time I have been down. Still my fault though, I could /should have booked online so I am not blaming the club.

Will be a sorted in a bit anyway.

The staff were walking the queue asking if anyone was there just to collect pre ordered tickets and telling them to go to reception to collect without waiting.

Rule of thumb the queue was from ticket office to the flower tributes outside the Blades shop and it took 2:45 hours to get served

That's why I asked, to get an idea for the genuine reasons... if it's just that people have changed their minds it's different as to if there is a common reason/requirement.

Like I said, genuinely not trying to blame anyone or appear smug.

My circumstances mean that I don't need to purchase home tickets (season ticket & cup scheme) and that I generally order away tickets on the first day of sale via the website... so for me it couldn't be much easier (though I've made a number of suggestions on the system over the years which would really help!).

I fairly regularly feedback on things like this to the powers that be, and I'd like to understand why there are such issues - after filtering out the people who wouldn't be happy if Kevin McCabe and Girls Aloud picked them up in a gold plated Bentley to take them down to organise tickets at their convienience.

Foxy sent Linz out there?

Nah, she sorted her bloody self out with the renewal, so I even had to do mine myself, along with sorting the away tickets and my Kell Brook ticket!

Our baby blade can cook a little longer before joining the queue for tickets!, preferably until the end of May.

Went online at 8.45 this morning, logged on fine, could buy other tickets, boxing etc.
Came to 9.00

Crash.

Don't for one minute take this shit about a power cut because that server was working upto 9 o'clock and all to do with too many people trying to access it at the same time.

I bought mine last April!!

Booked mine online weeks ago, honestly didn't think demand would reach this high for an evening game but wasn't to know that we could be promoted on that night. As far as I can tell now everywhere except the Kop has been sold out!

My mate and his kid have been in the queue so long that when he said to the little 'un earlier "Come on, we're going home", the kid looked up with a look of incomprehension and asked "Home?"

He started queuing for an adult and concession but needed 2 adults by the time he got served.

I'm coming across tomorrow for the game and to get a season ticket for next season!. I'm just glad I got my Coventry and chesterfield tickets 3 weeks ago!. I think I might have to get an earlier train from Liverpool if I'm going to be queuing for a couple of hours!. UP THE BLADES

Anyone know how many have been sold

Are the Coventry 390 (or 150) going to be sat alone with a 50 yard gap each side of them

Well you can't exactly expect her (when she's pregnant) to go and get you a ticket to see Kelly Brook.

As no one has said so far, I just want to say that was really kind of them to offer drinks to people in the queue. I haven't seen that before, EVER!

Ps I wasn't there. Already have mine
