Over the last few weeks, on social media and in general conversation with Oinker friends, almost every Pig fan I have encountered has given me the same, chastising "you don't realise how hard the Championship is now" remark.

Almost always comes across as disingenuous.

The obsession seems to have resurfaced, so we are obviously doing something right.

Anyone else had this recently?

They're running scared.

I mentioned to one that our gates could be higher than theirs next season
And he nearly started crying with denial.

He just refused to accept that we could be getting more at S2 than them at S6.
He still refused to believe we got 28K against Scunthorpe, convinced we are fiddling our figures.

That's painfully embarrassing. I think what makes it even funnier is how obsessed they are with their attendance; and I imagine most of us blades wouldn't really be all that bothered even if we did get more than them.

I'm really not bothered though. If fans of a club's biggest brag is how much support they get at games, they really don't have much else going for them. Leeds prior to this season springs to mind as well.

With Wilder in charge even with a significantly weaker squad (on paper) than the pigs I'd be confident of not losing to them next season. We'all finish somewhere in the bottom half next season and I for one will be happy with that, within 3 years and barring no spectacular balls ups that cause Wilder to leave we'll be pushing for the playoffs. Hopefully without having a team full of overpaid wankers like they have.

It's all they've got. They're absolutely praying that should we go up we'll struggle. They base this on us currently being league one, not taking into account the quality football we play or the quality management we have.

They think we're not going to strengthen the squad and try to survive with what we have now. They think we'll rely on Billy Sharp alone to score our goals and don't rate him at all. Which is a strange one considering there was a multi page thread on Porktalk bigging him up and pleading for him when they thought there was a chance he might sign for them a couple of seasons ago.

They dread the thought of a Wilder inspired team against their clueless Carlos and shit themselves that our momentum might get us in or around the play offs.

They'll no longer be able to say "mind the gap" or call us 'pub league' unless of course the scrape sixth place, get incredibly lucky and beat the better teams above them and go up.

Then 'la liga' will suddenly become the new pub league.

They truly are the most insecure vile scummy set of fans in football and I can't wait to see them fall apart next season.

.

No one belives that Carlos will be at the sty next season, not even Carlos.

I think we're all forgetting that despite possibly going up this season we still might not be in the same league next season. Just a thought...

Harder to get out of, maybe, harder to stay in, maybe not...

Barnsley are doing ok and even Burton (everyone's top to go straight back down) are still in with a chance despite their spending being the lowest ( I'd guess)

I'm obviously biased but I also think our current team looks much better than recent teams who've gone up and we are probably better equipped due to our style of play.

UTB!

It's utter bullshit from them. It's very unlikely they can take the piss we're going to be in a lower league so they have found something else to cling to which isn't even factual. Pure nobheadness from complete nobheads.

If the galacticos finally reach the prem, will the championship become the new beer league next season?

They're just trying to piss on our promotion party.

As things stand, we'd struggle with the squad we have. I'm sure we'll improve the squad and by the end of the transfer window we'll all be in a better position to predict how good or bad we'll do next season.

Thankfully we don't have to hear or put up with that shit in Dorset !! It's all positive comments about my team and long suffering supporters and long may it continue. South Barnsley never gets a mention and why should it.

I think it is quite funny how non of those fans say " but it won't matter to us because we'll be in the Premiership. Mind you we don't know how hard it'll be in there". Just read between the lines and it is quite simple. They do not believe they will go up. They know we will and the thought of us out doing them after them spending all that time in the Championship is too much to bare.

Barnsley seemed to have really struggled with the gulf in class between league 1 and the championship, especially today. I would have expected Wednesday to have won about 6-0 from what they were saying about the jump from league 1 teams and themselves. They're so fucking thick it's unreal.

Yes the Championship is in for a big shock when this man gets there.

Piggies are shitting bricks .
They remember 2000 to 2010 too much when year in year out they looked up to see us and know now the gap is firmly closed.
Theyve wasted millions on ordinary players . Rhodes is doing for Wendies what he did for Blackburn , nothing

He still refused to believe we got 28K against Scunthorpe, convinced we are fiddling our figures.

And how did you reply to Mark The Pitsmoor Retard?

Today, they played Barnsley. On Tuesday, they play Rotherham with Ipswich, QPR and Cardiff still to come. Admit it, Blades. Wouldn't you be shitting it with those giants of football up against us?

We now see why Caaarlosss (not many piggies on RS saying 'In Caaarlosss we trooost' now) was sacked from his previous fifteen managerial jobs. That's why he hasn't bothered learning English. That's why his nonce-like coat with the cheap fur collar from Primark looks so fucking stupid. But we Blades salute you, Carlos. 'Agent Wilson?', more like 'Agent Carlos' whose wasted millions of the pigs' ill-gotten gains on journeymen players who don't give a fuck.

Goes to show that spending (wasting) millions on players can count for fuck all. If it carries on and pigs finish outside the play offs they'll have spent millions and ended up on place worse off. Give me a hard working, tight knit group of players with a good attitude and work ethic over a team of expensive individuals. This time last year Carlos was the greatest manager to ever grace the championship and that he'd lead them to the prem, how's that going you MASSIVE bells. UTB
