Don't think I've ever known a season like it with the lack of them.

All down to our new style of play or the physios?

Or just bloody good luck?

You don't get injuries when you are winning and successful . Players want to play .

Teams failing get loads of injuries , players do not want to play . Look at Chesterfield and Rotherham local .

We haven't done badly (few minor injuries) but if you look at it

- Clarke never got up and running and has missed 90% of the season (would have been pegged as a key starter for us)
- Chapman got a bad injury just after he was getting started
- Riley had his season ended almost immediately
- Carruthers missed a good few week.
- Lavery took a few months to get going

Think the difference is that we have just had good cover for it.

It's one of quite a few things that have gone nicely for us this season.

When that's the case in addition to the team performing as they are, everything screams 'promotion season'.

Fleck was out for a bit at the start of the season as well I think.

Combination of.....

1. Better sport science and preparation.
2. Quality surface
3. Better footballers not needing to make their second touch a tackle....so better football rather than running about like nutcases chucking themselves about.

No you're right.
Let's be fair, there's one player (that I don't want to jinx) that's hardly missed a game, And without him we'd probably not even be in the playoff places.

We have so much depth we haven't really been affected too much.

Chapman out for the best part of a season, Riley barely got a kick before getting injured. Carruthers was out for a month or so. Lots of little ones putting players out for a week or so as well.

In previous seasons we had very little creativity. If say Kevin McDonald got injured we'd have bloody noticed it. Now we have an abundance of capable players who are virtually like for like replacements.

I'm not qualified to give a view to numbers 1 and 3 but number 2 is definitely the Desso. :D

Jees ourbob, why would you want to tempt fate at this stage of the season? Couldn't you just have waited for another four or five weeks then we'll really know how lucky we've been with injuries?
