We did miss him! He was injured in the Preston match at BDTBL the week before we played at the Sty. We managed to win 2-1 from a goal behind but the collective groan around the stadium was audible, everyone knew he was hurt and he was the only midfielder that made the team really tick. Typical really as we had been waxing lyrical about our football in the build up......he was also missing from the play off final as I recall?

Anyway back to the present and it is wonderful to see a squad, not just the midfield that has good depth and good balance with a couple of highly versatile players also. Even with several injuries or suspensions I'm confident Utd could cope for a change!!
