I wasn't there in person but I was amongst you via alternative means which are pretty commonly known however I won't go into them.

Obviously having been pegged bagged from a 2-0 lead to drawing 2-2 was a bit of a shell shock, the nerves rightly kicked in (I would have been the same).....however you didn't stop and I am proud to call you all my extended family.

After the 3rd goal went in, it was hard not to have the jitters still.....however you picked the tempo up and well and truly drove the lads of the line. That "Sheff United" chant went on and on for what felt like an eternity!.....During the extended stop in play it rang out louder and louder, stunning the home fans into silence and in the process giving myself goosebumps as I listened through loud surround sound speakers!......I'm not sure if you lot noticed it, however 2 or 3 of our players couldn't help but look over to witness it first hand

We appeared to have another mini spell after this and I honestly believe a large percentage of the extra energy and drive came from the electric support from the travelling fans.

I salute you and I thank you all.......I'm glad the team reciprocated and handed you a massive 3 points to bring home with you. You earned them as much as them tonight.

Safe Journey and thank you.

Thought the same when I heard it. Well done to the fans who made it down there. Immense.

Thought we were a bit flat for chunks of that 2nd half – notIcably jittery, fans starting to launch verbals at players (a guy behind me had a go at O'Shea, who "has been shit all game" mere seconds before he slotted us in front). But the final 15-20 minutes we were excellent, and I feel it helped lift the team. Possibly coincidental, but we also saw Swindon's errors creep back in – think it was shortly following the restart after the Coutts injury stoppage that Swindon kicked it out inadvertently right in front of us when it was a simple pass to their right-back. I wonder also if there hadn't been such a loud "goooooo-onnnnnnn" at Carruthers whether he might have slowed the ball down or headed to the corner...

I thought it was funny when their fans chanted at us "two nil and you effed it up etc etc" but they sang it in such a high pitch it was like a bunch of eleven year olds in a church choir before their voices have broke. Back to school tomorrow lads. No "Ultras" banner either like Oxford's.

Our response?

2-2 and you effed it up :D

Just wanted to say a huge "WELL DONE!" to all you guys that get to the away games!! You do us proud every time and I really believe that it makes all the difference to this squad!!

I really wish I could get to the away days, I miss them so much, but due to young children and shift work, I unfortunately, find myself attending less games than I'd like.
So listening in on RS tonight, whilst I'm doing a 12hr shift really made me proud to be a Blade!!!
Both home and away support has been amazing this season, the best I've seen and heard for a good few years, so you should all give yourselves a pat on the back for your involvement in a season to remember!!
Just one thing, let's ramp it up for the last 9 shall we, I'm planning on a good old shout and coming away with a sore throat on Saturday, as well as 3 points!! we can really make the difference at this point, we need to be the wind under our guys wings, we need to make them take off now, because we as Blades deserve that title, we as Blades want that title, and we as Blades can get it!!!!
COYRAWW take us to heaven!!!

Nice to hear someone have something positive to say about our supporters
Usually get twenty threads a day slagging us off for being negative crayon using dinosaur worshippers

That's a scandalous thing to say, FM! I'm so angry I've written it down with my Crayola (red, of course) and pray to the great God Diplodocus that no one takes revenge on you! :D:D:D

I must admit it's refreshing to have nice things said about us, rather than returning home at 1:30am to snide comments from some jumped up little cunt who's probably never viewed a match from outside a directors box.

hi this is my first post on this forum. I'm in complete agreement with BigBed regarding the support from those fans last night. I'm also unable to get to many games due to being exiled in Liverpool and working shifts! I'm really starting to believe that we can now get promoted and the title along with it!. Thanks to all you amazing fans who go every week. Come on you red and white wizarrrrds. Up the blades

I've always said that the fans have been magnificent, even when they've been sat in silence they've turned up.

I also believe that the team has to earn support and many of our teams in recent seasons have deserved the silence they have got

Silence is a step down from voicing displeasure. Its the final straw.

It's what happens when nobody gives a monkeys toss about the players or the manager and it takes quite a while to achieve as everybody has a different breaking point
When total silence finally arrives you know the club is in trouble.

But it just goes to show that if our fans get a sniff of something good they are the most amazing fans in football

And you best all be equally as rowdy, loud and supportive for the next two away games because after missing a few, I'm back on tour with my fellow blades!!

During that frankly torturous second half, it seemed clear that the team needed an extra lift to help them hold onto the win, even after the keeper gave us that gift. And in turn, the fans responded to shout them home and it was great to be a part of.

I'd like to personally thank Paul Coutts for putting away the penalty, as I'd been clenching due to anxiety for about 40 minutes non-stop! Any longer and I think my arse would have started cramping up!
