Two consecutive midweek home games, what could go wrong...

But the mid week fixtures are either side of a free Saturday.

Makes good sense and surprisingly we'll not be too affected.

In fact the oppostion are more affected than us.
When Millwall play us on the 28th it will be their 3rd Tuesday night in succession,
So would expect them to be slightly more tired than us.

And when we play Coventry on Wednesday 5th, it's after their big Wembley final the Sunday before. So again they'll be more tired than us and it could be "after the lords mayor" where teams commonly put in a flat performances after playing such a massive match at Wembley.

The Coventry game timing looks perfect on paper but I've lost count of the amount of times I've come away from the ground after Tuesday night games furious with a shocking result having fully expected a win. So no chicken counting will be done by me.

Hello Sheffsteel. It's DH84. You better run and hide.

Know what you mean.
If we are to underperform during a season it tends to be on a Tuesday night.
At least the Cov game is on a Wednesday night not Tuesday, so maybe we'll play well?

Count Turkeys then.

I can't make SISU at home now for fuck sake. They really are a wank club

Can see us losing both, as others have said we just don't do midweek wins at home. Fortunately however I think we will win enough of the other remaining fixtures for these 2 not to matter.

Really wanted the Coventry game at the end of April when we were already confirmed as Champions and their players would have to give ours a guard of honour.

Hope the club wine and dine SISU and they invade the pitch to protest about Coventry fans being wankers

Look on the bright side we hopefully will be the team that relegates them :D

Don't understand the fear of midweek fixtures.

The past is the past, dosent affect the upcoming games.

Absolutely. Building a significantly better team is the preferred antidote to past failures. It can also cure those dreadful non-singing; non-shouting nerves....
