are we changing our home kit again for next season? just got email saying theyre selling home shirts for 25 quid?

We've changed them every year since 2004/5. So i would assume that yes, we will be having yet another new shirt next season

From an economic point of view, the club would be mad not to change the kit every season. Fans will inevitably want to be seen wearing the most up to date shirt, so will always find the money to buy the new one every season. Which kid wants to wear the old shirt, while their mates wearing the new one. Next season could be a bumper season also for shirt sales, with season ticket sales and attendances up, with hopefully Championship football on offer.

Think the deal with Adidas is coming to an end (3 years??) so that may well trigger a brand new range of kits and other clothing if the club swap suppliers

Do bears shit in the woods?

If there's a way to raise revenue streams, we tend to be near the front of the queue at exploiting them

I'm not knocking the club. It's the way of the world these days and we aren't exactly flush, so needs must

there isn't a club that doesn't change ever season now. hope we stick with adidas they make nice shit.

Adidas is quality, but my own opinion is that we've missed a trick. Just feel our home kit could be so much better than it is

I wish the supporters could have some input

A few seasons back we got the opportunity to cast a vote against a shortlist of 6 kits. Giving season ticket holders an opportunity to log in and vote again would be a good way of involving the supporters. (logging in meaning pig infiltrators can't sabotage)

PS Was that a freudient slip? :)

The adidas deal was 4 years so still another year to go. And personally I hope that's extended.

But if not those shirts will go down as classics in years to come.

It was in the accounts that we've signed a new 4 year deal with adidas based on the fantastic sales of the past 3 season.

I like Umbro personally, they're doing some class kits for clubs as of late (even if one of the clubs they supply is Wet Spam!). Some of our best ever football was played in Umbro kits.

This year's Adidas home shirt is nice though. Pairs well with black or white shorts.

so have we extended the original deal or started a new deal? What year does that end then s5?
I read it as a new deal, but I'm not 100% sure. Nor am I sure if it started this season or next so I don't know when it ends either.

I appreciate that was an entirely useless reply, thank me later.

People on here have knocked up some decent designs in the past that we have all liked. It would be good if we could have a vote and adidas just produce the winner of that. Surely that would generate more sales than a generic template they use...

I too have a soft spot for Umbro.... I love the retro stuff that they produce.

Umbro are THE best kit makers. Adidas ok definitely not Nike. The England and man city kits have no class. Puma are just bland same with Macron. Some of the Umbro kits were superb. The retro 1930's kit we had in 92-93 with lace up collar is best shirt we've ever had. Some of their away tops and keeper tops were class too.

Stick with Adidas, byfar the best manufacturer we've had. The training kit, coats etc are a million times better quality than anything else. The kids sizes run true unlike Macron which had wired random sizes and the quality was awful.

Adidas and Umbro are the only decent suppliers we've ever had. Anything else would most likely be shite.

And despite being fairly decent, I'll always associate Puma with the Pigs. So with regret, they have to fuck off as well.
