Well quite, but it's hard to discuss the subtle nuances of the lbw laws with a mongoose who can't even manage the workings of a turnstile.

I'd say the England cricket team were streets ahead of their footballing counter parts and have been since the year 2000. Numerous Ashes victories, including down under, two series wins and a drawn series in SA, they got mullered this time in India (and I'd put part of that down to a ridiculous playing schedule) but won there the time before, have won series' in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, won the t20 World Cup, and the current ODI team are on fire and have been since 2015. In comparison England at football have been abysmal at all major tournaments since 2006 (and were at best average at the ones before that), that's when they've qualified.

I'll confess I know very little about other sports but I think Eddie Jones is doing a great job as the cricket manager and I hope John Root hits loads of home runs.
