For those who could make it, how did Riley and O'Shea play, after their first starts tonight?

Cheers!

Both gave a good account of themselves tonight. Joe Riley is no shirker, put himself about well and has a good eye for the forward ball.
Good to hear. On the footage I've seen of him, that's exactly the impression I got of him.

What's his deliveries like, he looks like he can whip a good ball in?

The few he was able to put in were decent. His game tonight was mainly about getting that through ball to Done and Sharp who were both out wide on the left to whip 'em in. (Would rather have seen Sharp a bit more in the box than be forced wide but it's not a big grumble).

You left Bristol after the final whistle, and were back in Sheffield by midnight? Impressive

3 h 10 min (179.8 mi) via M5 and M1

I used to travel regularly to Taunton and Yeovil.

Bristol, 3 hours, Yeovil or Taunton 4 hours.

Well, I'm currently going through Brinsworth technically. But still, a good run.

The short cut through Brinsworth. Cuts an hour off the journey.

I find it difficult to "txt" in a car that is moving. You?

Since you last travelled regularly to Bristol, there's something called a smartphone that's been invented, and you don't need to be in your own back room logging onto a dial up modem to connect to internet. ;)

He was too busy with his incredible career as a top professional footballer to notice such technological advances. Plus he's from Rotherham.

Because he's a failed footballer and a failed musician with a drink problem. There's a deep sadness in him which he deals with through the medium of 3rd rate forum trolling.

Ah I see. He certainly seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder with a handful on here for no particular reason.

He's easy enough to deal with. You just have to remind him of who he is then he eventually gets back in his box.

Keep your cool fella . :) . Nice walking the dogs around the Estate at this time of night and still sending messages
Don't want to brag but I got home before you .

Done it in 2 hours 20 before, from Bristol to Chesterfield, so I'd say that sounds entirely possible given that there'd be no traffic that time of night on the M5/M42/M1.

Sheffield to Bristol, 2 hours

I can still remember the look on my in laws faces when we stopped for a break :)

Still here in Bristol digs.
Both played well but I think neither will start on Saturday.
Thanks for bringing it back on topic after some twat decided he wanted to tell us, for some apparent reason, how long it takes you to get back from Bristol. Start your own threads in the Geography section ya twats, i'm not interested. :)
