I can only assume these so called fans know nothing at all about football and this was the first ever game they've seen?

The first 20 mins was pretty even imo. After that we got a grip on the game that we never gave up. We dominated it but no game is a given and few are a stroll in the park.

Some fans seem to expect it to be perhaps?

I was very satisfied with the performance and delighted with the result.

Shit we definitely were not and deserving winners we certainly were.

Funny how some see it differently eh?

We were good and deserved it. There were a few in that Charters after the match who looked like they'd been more concerned with supping ale than watching United.

Don't make assumptions that because they were on the same train home they were Blades.

We, like a lot on here listened to the radio commentary and watched the live stream (well 30 secs later stream) and although it was difficult to make out what was going on at the far end it was clear which team was dominant. After we scored, of course you take the 1-0 and want the final whistle to come as fans and as did the radio commentary team. I remarked to my wife however that the team are in no way hanging on and are playing with a dominance that they had built up over the course of the game. It is only us that feel a little anxious at that point and not this super team that CW and his staff have put together.

I think the only reason we didn't dominate in the first twenty to thirty minutes, was that Posh upped their fame and it was quite even. They then ran out of steam and we completely dominated the rest of the game. I had just about given up and accepted a draw, till that magic moment. Fully deserved. The local radio commentator were very impressed with us.

To be fair, there was one dad ( about 60) and son ( about 30) stood behind me, ( presume it was that relationship ) both appeared stone cold sober ( well, more than I was ) and the dad was moaning to the 'lad' all way through the game...bitching about every misplaced pass/chance and bricking it with every Posh attack..."ere we go"..."terrible".."wot woz that" etc etc..

The lad kept pretty quite...guess he's used to it!

Coming out of the ground I heard a bloke behind me saying that he thought it was a poor performance and we were lucky, but the 3 points are all that matters!

Personally I thought united were absolutely superb, bossed the game and it would have been unfair on us had we NOT got the late goal. I suppose everyone's entitled to their opinion but I can't see how anyone could watch that game and think we were anything other than excellent.
