Looking up The Moor I think Georgie!
....from Eccy Road/ Cemetery Road roundabout?
I reckon it must be, Barclays Bank was on that roundabout.
When was the Moor pedestrianized? 1974 ish?

I think the Barclays bank is the Chinese fireworks place opposite the Hermitage/Scholar bar. On the bottom left you can just make out the S&E Co-op's flagship 'Arcade' where I was a Saturday lad for a while.
The stone building just in front is the Tai restaurant at the side of Waitrose.
Most of the middle section of the picture disappeared under the Manpower Services but you can clearly see the bootom of the Grovensor Hotel and the Town Hall.
I remember seeing John Flynn hobbling with a plaster pot on his foot walking on the pedestrianized Moor in October 1976
Got me with that one, SEB
Mulberry Tavern, Georgie!
Norfolk Street
Try getting on it at Stocksbridge then! When I lived in Oughtibrodge, the 65 seemed to take about 3 weeks to get to town.

Fascinating, I'd never seen the Moor without the Manpower building there before.
Meh, I knew it was a 60-oddDidn't go there back then Rodders. IIRC the 65 went from Oughtibridge terminus to town, via Worrall and Swillsborough. Back then, it was the 57 and (I think) the X66 and X67 went through Stocksbridge.
