Billy Sharp because even when he is meant to be out of form he still scores a goal.

Looks like a late rally for Matt Done

Well deserved to . Sharp would be on 4 goals now if it wasn't for Doney ' .

Ah, I see. You were talking bollocks. Why didn't you say? It's all so obvious now...

Period means period. Don't you understand that............unless you're on one.

Period.

Period.

The lack of understanding is all yours, old boy. You don't understand me.

I raised a perfectly valid point and did it courteously. We can either have a civilised dialogue or a war of words. Choose the latter and you're on my territory where, quite inevitably, you get the silver medal...

ZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Logging off now.

Don't want to wreck this thread with a puerile duel, someone wake me up in a couple of days please!

Just not seeing Hammond on that list makes me do an involuntary sex wee, even now. How far we've come, so soon.

(Duffy for me, but could easy be one of 5 or 6 others.)

His dad is dead, killed just over a year ago, surely you knew that ?

I didn't so thanks for the link.

I feel a bit of a shithead now and please be assured I wasn't trying to be clever or make fun of the incident. I wholeheartedly apologise to anyone offended by this.

Sorry Leon, I genuinely didn't know.

Sloping off now to hide under a stone.....

We all make mistakes mi owd :)

A good case could be made for 8 or 9 of the regular starting 11 to be honest.

I went for Freeman after much deliberation but Sharp, Duffy and Fleck are very close and I think Duffy will get it at the end of the season.

Can only be 7 actual contenders, those who have made the biggest difference to our changearound.
Sharp, Fleck, Duffy, Coutts, Freeman, EEL, Moore.

Although others have played their part, these have contributed the most on a consistent basis.

The votes for JOC suggest he's up there.

Don't get me wrong, I think since the first few games he's done well....but when he's played is the point. Not been a constant part of the team and success since the upturn, even though he is presently.

Coutts for me....very very close between him and Fleck. The single reason we are the side we are is due to that midfield pair IMHO.

I have nothing against Brayford at all, but I would say that we have moved on.

Our manager has his team, and it's doing ok. Freeman deserves a chance at the championship if we get there, as does Lafferty. I think O'Connell is one for the future as we progress and of ourse we need a CB next season regardless. EEL or not to be honest.

Wright will be moved on and thanked for his valuable service, so Brayford may well be an option if Wilder can't get a better player in.

me neither but based on form over at least 18 months, I'd rather have Freeman in my team, regardless of league, based on what I've seen. Brayford may be ripping Championship apart for all I know but he was struggling in league 1 last season and this

Hoping someone gives Scougs a vote. He has already scored more goal than Leon this season but the latter gets two votes to Scougs nil.

Voted for Sharp.

For all the excellent play of the three midfield generals and Freeman, goal scorers win you promotion or in the case of last season keep you out of the relegation mire.

gone for Fleck ,not always prominent, but has driven us on to more wins than anyone else
results improved after he came in and keep improving with his guile

Play the clip below (for all us older Blades) and at the correct moment, turn down the sound and say "Sharp, Fleck, Duffy, Coutts, Freeman, EEL, Moore." brings a smile to the face

Difficult decision and amazingly there are so many options that have validity.

For me our best players are Duffy followed by Fleck

But "player of the season" should take into account some background.

Both Coutts and Freeman were out of contract and not wanted by the club
Both have knuckled down and deservingly play in the team every week

Tempted to go for Coutts because he's been really good but he is does play with 2 fantastic colleagues (Fleck and Duffy). So I've chosen Freeman based on his big improvement but it could change through out the season.
