Ive got our three MotD appearances from that season on DVD in full and always meant to do a season video for the year. Sadly, they were not good results. Also, at 40 minutes each, I don't know if anyone would sit through two hours of it.

We were scheduled to be on away against Liverpool that season on April 2nd, but the match was postponed because of snow.

Looks like open of our earliest encounters against Leeds in the mid 1960's. Brian Richardson and Hodgy. The nearest Leeds player looks like Alan Peacock. The other - Storrie(?). If that's a Blade behind Peacock wonder if it's Denis Finegan.

In the background it looks like Wednesday are losing.

I can't recall which poster mentioned this previously, but once the decision was made to evict cricket form the Lane, the lack of vision to turn the pitch 90 degrees is absolutely staggering. Sheffield in a microcosm.

Twas I, probably amongst others. Of all the goofs we have made over the past 50 years, this one has to rank at the very top.

Left to right: Barry Hartle, Albert Johanneson, Billy Bremner, Alan Birchenall, Paul Reaney?

April 24th 1965. Blades 0 L**ds 3 (Storrie, Bremner, Peacock). L**ds were hoping to pip Man U for League title but finished 2nd

Both of you are correct in identity of the players
