Listen: Carruthers on his 'first day at school'

New Sheffield United signing Samir Carruthers has said his start to life at the club hasn't been perfect.
Speaking to me this morning, he talked about how he started training wearing his shorts the wrong way around:
I can't see it either. I managed to work out what the word was from the number of asterisks you used.I'm at work so can't see that. I assume he's called us M*****e? New signings really should have a media induction before they go in front of them.
He's got a snakey/untrustworthy voice, and he's "not arsed" where he plays "as long as I'm on the pitch" don't know hot to take that.
I agree it that it shows his desire to stay in the team, I meant rather how I couldn't make my mind up how to perceive what he was saying, I was caught between thinking of it as arrogance or a strong will to fight for and keep his place in the team. Regards the other comment I made about his voice that was daft but not meant in a malicious way at all haha. I apologise profusely for my inadequate grammar.Might help if you posted something that was relatively coherent........as for 'snakey', meaningless comment, as for "not arsed as long as I'm on the pitch'', it underlines his desire to stay in the team and work hard to achieve this. Think you need a spelling refresher fella.
It was a daft comment.

Just listened to the full interview, why the fuck did Buchan feel the need to bring up the pint glass incident? FFS give the guy a break, it's not like he glassed someone with it. Thought Samir shut him down very well 'I learnt my lesson, won't be going there again, I don't like to bring it up myself so STFU mate....' or words to that effect.
No need to apologise, just use spellchecker, it's there for a reason.
There was no suggestion of arrogance from the new lad, and I think that he'll be eager to see what he's capable of. I don't think he'll walk into the team, but when his chance does arrive I bet he'll get a great reception.
because his hand slipped on "hot" instead of "how"? Behave.
Bastard. It'll be a jumper over his shoulders next.
Followed by a chupa chup and blonde highlights. Parasite.
No Rodders, we all make the odd mistake, it was the tone based on referring to a 'snakey' voice, whatever that was meant to suggest. Got to give any new player a chance rather than jumping on a him. Carruthers spoke well and didn't suggest a reason to be unsure of his attitude. He just seems eager to get started. Misinterpreting his motives seemed daft.
I don't like him. Apparently always injured, and seems like a player who just here for the journey and won't be "arsed" to put in the extra effort.
Bad signing in my eyes. But would be happy to be proved wrong
Interesting to hear that his agent told him we were interested straight after the game against them earlier in the season.
He was running the show until he went off
