and Roygbiv may actually have a life, but where the feck are you Roy? We need the post Cobblers view. Bet they mention how quiet we were.
Let me have a coffee and I'll get to work.
Pretty sure they will rue their luck with Moore's world class save!
What luck was that?

Their bad luck that most keepers wouldn't have saved it
That's nothing at all to do with luck.
I know - I'm just saying that it's probably how the Cobblers fans will feel.

The very opposite, good free kick and excellent save. A quality bit of football.
From where I was sat it was a delayed response from the crowd.. the expected shout of relief when the goal bound shot got saved.. then a moment later, applause as people realised what they had just seen.
I understand Minty s point tho, it being one of the very few Northampton chances.
I know its New Years Day because I have not moved off the settee for 2 hours and have become a pet bed.View attachment 21609
That's precisely why Simon Moore was my MOTM. He had nothing to do yet, when the time came, he pulled off one of the saves of the season. That free-kick was superb; headed right for the top corner. Moore won those three points with that save, no doubt in my mind. He's a key reason, and there are quite a few, why we are top of the league. Great credit to him and those who scouted and recruited him. He wasn't cheap either - credit to the much-maligned board.
Whiskey hangover BP?
Can you just repeat that bit, the one that says we are top of the league? Because I thought I was dreaming when I woke up this morning. That's precisely why Simon Moore was my MOTM.
