From where I was sat it was a delayed response from the crowd.. the expected shout of relief when the goal bound shot got saved.. then a moment later, applause as people realised what they had just seen.

That's precisely why Simon Moore was my MOTM. He had nothing to do yet, when the time came, he pulled off one of the saves of the season. That free-kick was superb; headed right for the top corner. Moore won those three points with that save, no doubt in my mind. He's a key reason, and there are quite a few, why we are top of the league. Great credit to him and those who scouted and recruited him. He wasn't cheap either - credit to the much-maligned board.

I have a goalkeeping bias... But I could not agree more. The effect on a team, of having eventually crafted a chance only to find there is yet another quality player stopping shots and goals.

I want Pinchy to repeat the whole thing but replacing the word 'Simon' with 'Matt' and the word 'Moore' with 'Done', for no other reason - heck, it won't even make sense - than it will be very funny!
