A team plays well. Consistantly.
It rises to close to the top of the league and clearly intends to challenge to get promoted from what is frankly a fucking crap division.
This team struggles to win against uber defensive opponents,there are warning signs.
It continues to get results and stay the pace.
It underachieves vis a vis the standards it has set.
Someone points this out and isn't happy at the performance.
It's called demanding more. It's what you do when you're serious about success.
If and when we land in the play offs as opposed to smashing this fucking shit league I'll remind a few about this. I fervently hope that won't be the case.
The last decade suggest it might.I want us to win this league in style. We should.

They can stay away for me,i was up and down from my seat more times than a pro's nickers,and the three tits behind me all i heard from them was cashout cashout cashout all feckin game, feckin did my head in.

Wilder was honest with his aftermatch comments,he did say this was not the Oldham team that he watched against Southend,Oldham did not look a bottom of league side.

Clark coming on changed the game,well done Wilder.

Well done Sharp for smashing in the two goals,rather celebrate that and the win rather than get hung up on the faults we had in the first half.

You said during the first half (when everyone accepts we were below par) that the players put zero effort in, stole a wage, and the performance rated 1/10.

You can later try to polish it up, but it's what you said originally that is being criticised.

I know we all have different opinions, but if you think it was that bad, you just can't understand modern football.

They turned the screw and ground Oldham down and deservedly won the game. It's what happens when you have a better team than your opponents.

Oldham had 3 shots from miles away and that was it. We could have had more than 2 easily.

Relax and have a mince pie.

Being in this division for so long has unfortunately changed a lot of our fans mindsets. It has bottomed out their expectation levels to the point that when any kind of high (when I say high I mean the level it should be at) standard is upheld it's frowned upon. Sad to see in many ways.

at half time and did what we should have done from the first whistle at 3pm. Why the fuck do people make excuses for shit performances?

I had four on my row who wandered in after 15 minutes saying, "sorry pal, we were sitting in't wrong seats. Not our fault". Obviously the fucking sat nav couldn't locate row R.

Nobody played well today. It really isn't that controversial to say so. We played better against Walsall and lost.

Stating as much doesn't mean you're a harbinger of doom or "hate" the club. It's just an acknowledgement of the fact that such a performance as todays would see us lose against better teams that Oldham, and standards need to be maintained.

What the OP has stated hardly warrants such snooty denunciations.
