It's not so much the protest that's riled me it's their "fans" trying to get the away end & trying but failing to attack the supporters coaches outside. Only sport being played at the Ricoh next season is rugby

I don't think the fans gave a shit about the football result mate.
Be like telling the Elephant Man he's got a bit of hair stuck up at the back.
Plenty frustrated with their antics in the away end (not helped by us struggling) resulted in us taking the piss.
But that was completely of their own making........if they want to protest and antagonise away fans....what would they expect?

...we don't care about the result. We are already down.
we do though we are trying to get 'up'!...we don't care about the result. We are already down.
Is this the same coventry fans who once ran onto the pitch at highfield road at the last match of the season in the early 90s and came running over to the Blades end 'looking for it'...? I recall that a few hundred Utd 'lads' decided they were well up for it and also went on the pitch to say 'hello' to them and the sky blue hard men shit a brick each and were last seen leggin it back where they had come from, onto the A444 and on there way to Burton. I nearly pisses mi sen laughing at the mock hardness of those coventry wannabe hoolies that day.
i'll reply to my own post.. i just read some of your fans disgraceful comments and i take back every wordwe do though we are trying to get 'up'!
surely as football fans you get the humour of the chant.. you were lucky our people didn't run on the pitch as well
anyways good luck with it.. despite the chant most of us do sympathise as you can see here

i meant in that it would have caused an incident.. no need to showboat here palLucky? Mate, neither Cov or Sheffield United are rated by anyone in the know about football hooliganism.
This never happened. If this happened there would at least be a news article on it.
nothing would have had a bigger impact than not ONE single supporter entering the stadium.
All other things aside
What a win
Whistles being blown every time United got the ball causing our players to pause and become indecisive
The referee blowing his fucking whistle every time United got anywhere near into their stride
Cert penalty turned down
Hit the post twice
Game stopped twice
Everything that happened tonight was stopping us getting into our usual rhythm
What more could have gone against us
And still we dug in and won
This team is made of pretty stern stuff
And Coventry fans, if you want empathy from fellow fans make your protest against your own boardroom in a manner that allows the visitors to empathise
Throwing missiles at our players
Getting the game stopped twice
And blowing whistles every time one of our players touched the ball is not the way to do it
Er...yes it did mi owd. I can even tell you the date. 4th May 1991. Last match of season at Highfield Road, game finished nil nil. The reason i know it happened...was because i was there. Anyway it was all handbags and nothing really happened...mainly cos the Coventry lads were off like whippets when their bluff got called. Dont give a rats arse if you dont believe me but i know it did.
Wots peed on your chips anyway...is it because your old man was one of the coventry boys that day who shit a brick and had his pride hurt?? Are you the next generation wanting to make up for your old mans shame...ha ha.
