Sincerely all Sheffield United fans

COYRAWW!!

We've had similar situations, take it into the car park, or the Chairmans business or home even (if he hasn't got kids) not on the pitch.

They are fed up with their situation. The match was on TV. What better way to promote their grievances. We always knew it was likely to happen .
Feel sorry for them to be honest, they ve put up with a lot of rubbish in the last few years.
We won and that's the main thing, let's just be grateful we are not in their place.

Well Cov got off lightly. If the game had been abandoned. We'd have ripped em a new one in the replay.

and the little twats who ran on were really just doing it to get noticed................which of course they did cos Sky milked it up

Had they invaded the pitch again after our second goal went in, thus forcing abandonment.....Then I would have been majorly pissed off.

However..........

Whilst the whistling was uncalled for (especially the tosser / tossers with the ref whistles), I will happily say that Coventry's protest was toned down and in good taste without too many bellends playing up. The are passionate fans who love their club in the same way that we do ours and I do sympathise with them to an extent.

In regards to punishment?.....Nah....They have probably punished themselves in the end because that pitch invasion gave us a chance to regroup and re-compose ourselves.

The whilstling wankers ruined my viewing but I do feel their plight to an extent.

They are in a shit situation, and I get protesting. But the protests were aimed to disrupt us as well and so they can't have been surprised that we fired back chants in return in the heat of the game, especially when it so clearly effected us.

Does that mean that Blades as a whole don't support their efforts to get their club back? Of course not.

I'm not happy they lost as a result, just relieved we won and can move on.

It's a tough one, because if fans across the country want to limit the impact that crap owners and money men have on the game then organised protest is something I want to back. On the other hand, I didn't want our game ruining tonight and, win aside, that's what happened.

I mostly kept my mouth shut about Charlton as I feel their interrupting a game very early on and then letting it continue is about the right balance. Having as many breaks in play as there were tonight is just farcical.

Dear Coventry fans.

If you want everyone to take your protest seriously in future, please remember to blow your fecking Referee's whistles when your shower is attacking and not just when the away team is in your area.

Some might think you were trying to affect the result.

Thank you for the points :)

See, this is the bit I don't really get. I dunno if it sounds a bit harsh, but hear me out...

If you're an outsider to their situation, which most watching on telly will be, yer not really gonna get what's going on. And if you're not a Coventry fan, it's quite likely that you won't give a fuck.

So in all honesty, how many people are going to 'join the cause' when they see that lot running on the pitch?

This is why I've started the 'What would you do' thread. I'm intrigued by what the best course of action would be in their situation.

Why has he said something like that?? What happened tonight for us to be branded a scum club?!

Plenty frustrated with their antics in the away end (not helped by us struggling) resulted in us taking the piss.
