Sweet victory tonight. Every sympathy with Coventry fans but if the ref had abandoned the game tonight i'm fairly sure it would have stood at 1-1 as we were past the 70 minute mark. It's not our fault their club is in the shit so for them to potentially ruin our promotion chances was completely out of order

Really nothing like Highfield Road...it used to be quite a buzzing little atmosphere they had there and the fans were cheerful and you could chat to them no problems about past games or rivalry etc, my best mate from school is a Cov fan, used to go to the odd game with him and his dad, we were the outsiders in our year at school supporting the less fashionable clubs.

Its just toxic and apathetical now.

It's not toxic, it's a vacuum.
 
The protest was ill conceived. Throwing tennis balls at our players and whistling when we had the ball was stupid - it made the protest about them winning the match and not anti SISU. It understandably riled Blades fans who had forked out to make the trip.I supported Charlton's protest: it was obvious what they wanted to achieve; it was done in an even handed, sporting manner.Tonight, I just saw a set of fans who were willing to throw tennis balls, use whistles and invade the pitch with the objective of helping their side win the game at all costs.
I'm proud to say that despite numerous appalling owners, and many years of underachievement Blades fans have never stooped so low

This reaction to the protests of Coventry City fans is pathetic blades. Show some solidarity! I would love a similar campaign to rid us of McCabe - the reason for our six seasons in the third tier of English football.
 



Stuck up for Coventry in 87 Cup Final. After tonight they can go and suck on some dry dog shit through a whistle.
 
I would also like to point out the huge hypocrisy in their typically whiny outrage:

The first time we played Coventry at Bramall Lane after relegation from the Premiership, we were serenaded with "There's only one Carlos Tevez" chants throughout the game.

Yet another reason why Coventry City FC can fuck off and die for all I care.

The same solidarity other fans showed us when we were cheated out of a place in the Premiership? The same solidarity we were shown when we were robbed of a promotion? The same solidarity we were shown when the press ripped us apart for daring to offer a man (proved innocent) training facilities?

The Wednesday fans on Twitter are brown nosing like you wouldn't believe. "We are with you, we aren't all like this in Sheffield,love us, please". Cringe time
 
Seen some Cov fans demanding that WE get sanctions!

Because a bit of banter is FAR FAR worse than running onto the pitch and disrupting play TWICE AND lobbing projectiles onto the pitch inbetween!
