Boooooooo Wilder out 2-3

Well at least the 500+ fans have seen some goals.

Freeman off at half time.

Lavery off after 63 minutes.

Basham to CB at half time then off after 75 minutes.

Game time for squad players and young players.

Done and Clarke reintroduced.

Another win.

Bonus debut goal for a youngster.

No injuries (hopefully).

Seems like we've managed this game well.

We are still playing!

I think Long, O'Connell, Basham, Lavery, Brown, Freeman and Whiteman were in the last squad... so nope! Well played Mr Wilder.

EDIT: Nevermind, it has to be 6 players who STARTED the previous fixture, so probably yes.
Is it previous game or previous league game?

Apart from the kids the big positive tonight is game time for Done, Lavery and Clarke. We suddenly have four fit strikers in the squad again and we will have a strong subs bench

Basham 'yellow', do they count for real games of football?

Is it previous game or previous league game?

From Bergen Blade 's earlier post...

"(a) A Club must include in its starting line-up at least 5 out of the 11 players who started the Club fixture immediately preceding or following the relevant EFL Trophy; or
(b) A Club must include in its starting line-up at least 5 out of 11 players who have made the most starting appearances in League and domestic Cup competitions fixtures during that season."

What's that now, 22 goals in last 6 games? When was the last time we scored 22 goals in 6 games???
We did it Dec 1935, probably not since
21 Dec 1935 Sheffield United v Hull City W 7-0 League Division Two
25 Dec 1935 Swansea Town v Sheffield United W 1-3 League Division Two
26 Dec 1935 Sheffield United v Swansea Town W 4-1 League Division Two
28 Dec 1935 Leicester City v Sheffield United W 1-3 League Division Two
01 Jan 1936 Sheffield United v Doncaster Rovers W 3-0 League Division Two
04 Jan 1936 Sheffield United v Bradford Park Avenue W 2-1 League Division Two

That to me reads the previous game. Because Ramsdale and Chapman have been called up on international duty then you are allowed to count them as part of the 5 therefore we needed only 3 players last night. Which I think we did.

I immediately thought of our last third tier promotion season, but the best was 21 in 6 games:

4-1 Bristol Rovers
2-0 Hartlepool
1-2 Gillingham
6-1 Chester
4-0 Northampton
4-1 Brentford

There were also 22 in the first 6 games of 1956-7, all in the league:

Rotherham W 4-0
Fulham W 5-2
Port Vale W 4-2
Fulham W 2-1
Barnsley W 6-1
Leicester D 1-1

I liked your post. Are we mates now? ;)

I didn't check that year, so trumps my 1935. Wonder if that makes me a clinton
