He's now scored 37 in a blades shirt. Should certainly hit 50 this season.
Extra points for the last player to do so??

Sharp has 41 overall - 36 league goals, 2 FA Cup goals, and 3 League Cup goals.
We don't have to go back as far as Deano do we? Nobody else springs readily to mind.
Was going to say the same, has to be Deano.
It's Deano in terms of league goals.
Since 1980 King Keith, Colin Morris and Deano are the only ones with more than 50 league goals for us I think.
Since August 1993 United have usually sold anyone who scores double figures in a season as quickly as possible. Since then, we have spent 2 seasons out of 23 in the top flight. These things are connected.
Ashley Ward?
No
No
All goals. League, Cups, Other (play offs etc)
Haha...
The last player to reach 50 landed on 50 and that was his lot.
Dane Whitehouse is my guess for goals in all competitions then.

38.Correct. 32 league goals.
So he does.. Our OS is wrong. Soccerbase agrees with you !
Nope, passed fifty weeks ago. Club made a bit of a song and dance about it so I'm surprised you missed it.Think he's on 49 now.
Just one more to take his place in the elite with Deane and co.

Nope.
That was all competitions.
No United player has scored 50 league goals since Deane.
Nice rant but the following have all scored double figures since 1993. Some were released obviously, as you wouldn't expect 40 and 50 year olds to still be in the squad, but AFAIA none were sold on:
Flo
Veart
Katchuro
Taylor
Lester
Gray
Webber
Shipperley
Cresswell
Williamson
Evans
Kitson
Flo never scored double figures in a season.
Kachouro is an exception
Taylor is a rarity - he lasted slightly more than a full season after scoring double figures
Lester was got rid of during the following season
Shipperley went in the following season
Cresswell is an outlier - he lasted 2 and a bit years
Williamson went in the close season
Evans was jailed
Kitson went in the close season

10 in 93/94 but don't let the facts get in the way of your rant.
There seem to be quite a few 'exceptions', 'rarities', 'outliers' and 'released' players, none of whom were sold as per your first post.
Still, why let yer' actual facts get in the way.....
