Would you be talking all this bollocks had we stayed up by a goal?
Didn't think so.
Would you be going to non-league if we had?

Well According to Some Fans on Bladesmad McCabe is Retiring in the Summer & Passing the Buck on too Some American Investors how True that is I don't know but if it comes off I am sure that sometime in the non To distant Future it could Happen.
OK - compare this:
Where we were with Mike McDonald in charge
Where we are with Kevin McCabe at the helm
Look at the differences
Would you be going to non-league if we had?

Don't talk daft. With a ball being six inches to the right of where it went against Wigan and it would have happened.
If mi granny had a c**k she'd be mi grandad.
Firstly, there's every chance that the budgets were stretched. This is why I'm so pissed off with the short sighted people who see "McCabe is worth £60m.", and then think he can just amble down to the local NatWest and withdraw it to add to the Club's funds. It's all tied up in investments, etc.
Nonsense the banks love to lend money.
Given that within the last ten years, we nearly dropped to the third tier of English football, being watched by crowds of less than 10,000, and a very uninterested board, I actually think we're doing ok. Just not on the field.
The field is where it counts for most Blades.
Secondly, as far as attracting players is concerned, we were a very small fish in a bloody big pond. Oddly enough, I doubt that Ronaldo would have thought, "Ooh, I'll go to Bramall Lane.".
So we settle for Neighsmith & Co, the money would have been better left in the post office.
Thirdly, what precisely do you expect King Kev I to do? He's not going to gamble all of the family silver to keep the dream alive, is he? Would you? If you've only got £100 to last a week, are you going to put the lot on the first favourite at Cheltenham? Of course not.
Wobble gob should keep his gob shut.
Fourthly, the clause in Jagielka's contract, while cruel to us, was probably there for some time beforehand, and put there by his agent. Now while I'm sure we all agree that agents are lower than a snake's cock, you can't blame the lad for safeguarding his interests.
The contract .... mmmm 'our terry' say no more.
Fifthly, the club is growing, albeit slowly, but it did take years to get back to the top flight after the last disaster. The days of having a rich benefactor (unless you're an oligarch) are long, long gone. Money, (which still seems to be the same as ambition to you) doesn't last forever at this level, and needs to be earned. That's why the club is growing, and starting to make an operational profit after donkey's years of debt.
I've hear it all before.............. boring......................
This season has been a disaster, but it's not the first and won't be the last.
McCabe? Sell to an American? I can see him passing it onto his son to be hoenst
Trouble is it's not decent. What you're saying is total rubbish!
Well According to Some Fans on Bladesmad McCabe is Retiring in the Summer & Passing the Buck on too Some American Investors how True that is I don't know but if it comes off I am sure that sometime in the non To distant Future it could Happen.
Who are you To Say My Opinion is Rubbish,I Might not like Your Opinion but I don't start Acting like a child and start having a pop at YOu for your beliefs do I.
.
So you're saying I'm acting like a child and having a pop at you? I'm not having a pop at you at all. You are allowed your opinion, but it really is a very poor one of this club if you think we have no ambition at all.
I'm guessing you're not very old, probably younger than I am, so probably don't remember the seasons where we went down, then down again, and down some more... Where was the ambition then?
This club has ambition both on and off the field. I'll be getting a new manager at my place of work in the next few weeks, but I don't expect her to turn things around overnight, she has to be given time to implement new ideas.
Maybe you're expecting too much?
If you want the club to have ambition - exactly what do you expect them to do that they're not already doing?

he had the Oppurtunity to Back Warnock with Significant Funds but never did so where is the Ambition in that??
We Could have signed Jason Koumas for 2m a few years back but Warnock in all his wisdom declined to make a bid even When Koumas said in the star that he would love a move to Bramall Lane. shakehead:
Kevin McCabe made a Rod for his Own back with his Europe in 5 years Statement & that was Near on 2 years ago?? and since then we have took more steps backwards than forwards.

Would that be Jason "currently setting the world alight at Wigan" Koumas? If people think Lee Hendrie has an attitude problem, I can't even begin to imagine to reaction to this bloke. I've seen in this thread yet more calling Beattie lazy... Mr Koumas is a bloke who has spent plenty of time in the past not even turning up for training, never mind actually putting any effort in.
Calling McCabe "Wobble Gob" is very childish.
but true...............
...but meaningless....
if yer say so..............................
make no mistake were in another relegation battle this season.
I don't think Mr McCabe is gonna lose a nights sleep cos of you calling him a wobble gob.
He's the best Chairman we've had in many a year and made the club a stable one without the worry financial problems and having to sell players to keep afloat.
He's done a fantastic job in my opinion.
If anyone is to blame for the team's league position it's the team.
I don't want him to loose sleep and i agree he's the best SUFC have had but that says nowt cause we've had sum reight shite.........
oh in case yer missed it her's
Latest from wobble gob............
Also on this story that's broke in the Telegraph, it says we pay the highest wages in the Championship, we all know that anyway, he says we may pay less overall next season, we all know that could happen and it's common sense, but he goes on to say that unlike our competitors in the division, we have the where with all to break the mould and if a player becomes available that would enhance our team he would break the pay structure to get that player."
Unless its the quality midfielder we have tirelessly needed for the last 5 years!
More smoke and mirrors coming from the club i love.
Beighton, think about this.
Maybe, just maybe he's telling the truth!!!
It's upto the Manager what players he wants not McCabe, he just sorts out the funding for the players.
So how it's smoke and mirrors I don't know
here is how.........
