Looking forward to the game on Saturday, as I expect a few others are, somebody asked me in my local last night about where I Park as they were thinking of going, she's a Derby "fan",husband's a blade but works at weekends, got me wondering about the crowd, 20,000+? Looking forward to a good game, good performance, a good win and a great atmosphere.

Yep looking forward to the game . Be good to use Peterborough as a benchmark barometer , after the away results and see if we mean business .

My concern is we can crack it away from home with tactics and formation.

It will be interesting if we can do the same at home . All about concentration and mental strength .

Think the home crowd will be a bit more forgiving , now we can see some light at the end of the tunnel .

Peterborough are no walkover , but you can now say the same about us . Think Wilder will mix it up a bit with the starting 11.

Interesting times at the lane .

Our away support is always really variable.
Doing well there's a good 3,000 demand, doing badly there's a 700 demand.

However our home support is always quite static and predictable around the 19K mark regardless of how well or badly we do. There will be slightly more than normal. I'll go for 20,340 but I won't be there as I'm on holiday.

19,362. Not wishing to be negative, but a year ago today we were all feeling positive after some good results. We got hammered by Bury at home!

Ahh, that old chestnut. "Where you parkin then? My hubbies working, even if he wasn't he'd be at the match. Get over so lonely on a Satdy".

Always used to prefer pigs who liked golf on a Sunday myself. Bit off the suckling joint for me in the morning and a few sloppies for porker in the afternoon. Fore . . .

22651 fact.

Everyone should have a guess and put a fiver in ,nearest clears up. That would smoke out who McCabe is on here :)
Not that Im a compulsive gambler you understand.

20,658, love a good old 'guess the attendence' game. It's much easier now HMRC seem to have clamped down on tax evasion, I remember going to a game in the eraly 90's and couldn't see a spare seat anywere, the announcement came on and there was only 21,000, were we could have fit another 9000 I don't know.

Newcastle at home in the LC about 1988? Always stands out as a "who made that number up?" attendance for me. One for you, one for me on the turnstiles back then.

I suspect it's cashless turnstiles that have had the biggest effect.

We didn’t. We were on top for most of the game and at 1-1 looked the more likely. They scored a worldy to take the lead against the run of play. Then we threw everyone forward for an equalizer and they nicked a 3rd at the death when we only had calamity Jay back and big Leon mugged him.

Should be a good game Saturday. Peterborough are one of the better footballing sides in the division but are “get-at-able” at the back. My money would be on a score draw in this one. Possibly 2-2.

As for the attendance? I’ll go for 19,999.

Where's the new found positivity? I was expecting we'll hammer em 4-0 and there will be nearly 25,0000. I'll go for 20,240. an a 1-0 win.

When that Charles green was running things didn't he say they found several turnstiles had had the cables cut so there was no way of knowing how many had gone through?

Those turnstile operators must have been driving some right motors. Always used to think they must be on the take, piles and piles of fivers and tenners stacked high on the counter....

Def not gonna put a bet on Billy scoring a Hat-Trick ................. makes it more likely ......... :p

And how did they know whether it was an adult or a kid who went through the turnstile?
