They play in Kingston upon Thames. It's quite pleasant.

And Balham is upmarket now.

In fact, if you think south London has no posh areas, you don't know it very well. It's not all Elephant and Castle/Haygate Estate these days. (In fact even round that area there's massive regeneration). Places like East Dulwich and Wandsworth Common are well beyond the affordability of most ordinary people. (As is most of London tbf).
Here's a 3 bed flat on the Heygate Estate:

Will be heading to the match from Chertsey . Chelsea are going to pump money into Chertsey Town FC due to Chelsea Ladies FC . Funny old game . Next thing the club will be having youngsters loaned from Chelsea and finnish up in the conference .

Didn't even know Wimbledon were based in Kingston Upon Thames .

I will be in the home end which I understand is in the same stand as the away end.

May I suggest those in the away end sing a song for us in the home end, perhaps ridiculing the fact that we do not have 40,000 loyalty points sufficient to buy a proper ticket.

I shall be carrying a copy of the Daily Telegraph, open on the crossword page - which I fully expect to have completed.

I don't! It was all a bit tongue in cheek...
Been to Balham, Tooting & Brixton a while ago! Not fussed on any of em TBH.
Except Brixton perhaps - good night out at the Carling Academy (as was) & was impressed by how many boozers were open into small hours, place was bouncing.
Absolute shit hole in some of the surrounding areas tho.....

Just had a look on The Wimbledon site and it looks like it is a sell out. They are appealing for season ticket holders to inform them if they are not attending so they can sell their seats.

If I see you with the Daily Telegraph open on the cross word page fully completed , I will greet you with the sentence - you have never experienced a winter , until a winter in Madrid .

I will be also seated in the home end .

I knew one day if I tried hard enough I could be in the presence of Hartley Hare. I shall scour the crowd for what I assume he looks like with the Daily Telegraph. Shouldn't be too difficult...

Sorry HH :D

If I were going I would be in the home end. I'm not however and wouldn't get any loyalty points but would I be counted in the attendance figureat the lane?

No need. London's full of northerners. One of the Dons' most famous supporters is Alun Armstrong, the northern actor.

Just don't start singing Blades songs and giving it the big 'un and you'll be fine.
New Malden, about 20 minutes walk away has had a large South Korean population for a few years now -
I just know that we Blades will rise to the challenge!

Get the coach driver to drop you off before you get to the ground ,then you will get in , the away end is easy for the Police to seal off completely , if you are not a Hoolie i dont see a problem , but you know what power mad jobsworths are like .

You don't have to ask for that.

But I've never understood why Yorkshiremen wouldn't want a full glass. You wouldn't say 'bag o' chips luv but don't fill it right up'.
I thinkthat the beer glass is supposed to give you a pint as well as the head?

Or get the driver to speed up and plough through the cops.
