CONFIRMED McNulty joins Bradford City on Season Long Loan

Bradford press suggesting any move would be a loan – I'd much rather we cash in now. His contract will be up at the end of the season – if we aren't planning to use him, let's try and get a fee off someone now.

Friend who works at Scottish Herald.
Though I have to say, some of his stuff has been pish lately!
Though his Rangers news to me is almost bang on the nail.

He mentioned Tom Hateley too, as he's wanting a return to
English/Scottish football. Can't see SUFC being interested.

I wouldn't be surprised to see McNulty getting close to the top of the scoring charts....heard it hear first!

Sad to see McNulty leave though but guess that we couldn't keep McNulty, Done and Sharp. Wish McNulty all the best. Adkins should have used him last season and maybe McNulty would be further along in his career with us than he is now, which is third choice.

I'd like to see us use him this season. Partnered well with Lavery, who may be heading our way, at Pompey apparently. Might have given us more option as we aren't exactly scoring for fun at the moment.

No doubt there, he's proved that he can get goals. But i would put him in the same category as Done, not prolific enough to lead the line as the first choice, especially when Sharp and Clarke have better records and offer so much more.

McNulty would be a good squad player in the Championship, but i don't think he's a luxury that we need at the moment because where do you put him? He's probably down in about 5th choice, which is no good for him nor us.

His best performances have come from the bench for us. When he's started, he's be largely disappointing. He doesn't seem to have the fitness for 90 minutes of running around.

It's not easy being fit for 90 minutes when you never get 90 mins consistently

Yep agreed! - if he goes let's see how he compares with goals in relation to our forward line - many on here will still find a reason why he's not good enough for us - his record is decent for us and scored against higher league opposition - a decent run in the team and we get the best out of him
