Well we don't exactely bang in the goals..and we are pretty naf defensively too. We will revert to defensive tactics to stay in games, and sneak a 1-0 win v Oxford.

If we can't win this one then we are in trouble.

I predict this will be the expression on CW's face at the final whistle.:)

What that photograph does not fully show is that he has trousers down , sat of the loo , forcing a shit out , with the effort and pain clearly showing on his what . Sorry what dis you say , his expression at the final whistle .

Heart says 3 - 1 us, head says 3 - 1 them. If we concede first we'll be all over the shop with no shape and no discernible tactics, a shambles. Score first, keep the ball for 10 minutes and push on and you never know.

Not basing the 3 - 1 for us on anything more than wishful thinking. The defence still looks dodgy, midfield is poor and I wish we hadn't signed Clark. Rock fucking bottom and that's a fact :(

Don't make predictions anymore since Predicting we would get relegated after we sold the two Kyles.

0 -1 to Oxford, Blades start brightly without creating much (I've a feeling we'll have a stonewall penalty appeal turned down as well), they score from a set piece and then park the bus. We'll only have one shot on target, a speculative effort from range that the keeper will save easily.

More vitriol aimed at the players, meanwhile in Belgium someone is busy counting the pennies

2-0 Blades, end of crisis, cracks papered over, no need to sign anyone... Then it all goes wrong after the window shuts.

"I want to make Bramall Lane intimidating again"

He has, I'm shit scared of going!

Watching those stuttering interviews can't see how he's could inspire a win!
The bloke brought a club back from the dead last year and pissed the league with them, without getting paid for the most part.

Don't blame him. SUFC - the perennial manager ruiner.

I wouldn't blame anyone for taking a job that they aren't capable of doing to make a quick wedge. I would love any Utd manager to be successful and stay as long as Colin did and achieve the success he did. And I accept its not their fault it's the owners. Oh, and us fans

The fans are the most to blame. If only we would just not turn up eh, McCabe might think 'wtf'.

I think that will be the next step Dan. There will always be a hard core of fans that turn up regardless but I think next season will be the one when crowds drop dramatically. I was there watching games in the fourth division with crowds to rival the Crewe's, Accrington's et al and it is not nice.

We've said that for the past what, 4 seasons? We are mugs, lets face it. Me included in that.

0-2 Oxford.

We'll probably manage two shots on target. Improved first half but nothing much getting past half way. Oxford will change the plan in the second and score two avoidable goals, one from outside the box. Wilder will interview, stating we have improved and 'we need to strengthen' implying we'll bring players in before the deadline, but we won't, naturally.

Basham will be best player with a 6.5 in Deadbat's writeup. All of the newbies will be 3s, 4s and 5s. Fleck (if playing) will need to be on a wheeled stepladder to get a touch.

The pitch will look nice, though.

... and the band plays on ...

The spirit of the fans is just getting worse. Go a goal behind and I think it's going to go off Everyone needed a lift this week.

Thing is, and this is the sad bit, everyone will start having a stab at Wilder (not his fault he has players who aren't at this level) and the players (not their fault they aren't good enough at this level)

Of course, up in the exec boxes, one seat will possibly remain empty for the whole 90 minutes.

A week of training and getting to know the defence will see Moore get a clean sheet. Lots of work done on shape, and communication.

In midfield, Fleck to return, and Sharp to be dropped to the bench.
A more fluid performance and a nervous 1-0 victory.

That is fine, but Wilder will end up falling on his own sword. He spends the last part of his press conferences bigging up the board saying they are providing everything he needs.

fixed that for you

We shall see....so long as it's changed otherwise Wilder really is being stubborn and stupid.

Swindon away.... Remember it well.....scored 5 away from home but didn't win....hmmmmm.....good pre-game piss up and sunny weather............I actually think a little piece of me died on the way home that night.....An effing massive chunk died on the way home from Gillingham!!!

Actually feel better now I've watched the Millwall game. Chris was right, we were not dominated and played some good stuff. Courts should start with Fleck but don't see him dropping Basham and only Clarke, Sharp and Duffy should start - so now vote 2-1 for us.
