Billy Sharp

Ok, I'm prepared to see Sharp walk and keep Clarke (although if he's the answer I've no idea what the fucking question is).
I'm prepared to read Silents irrational blaming of Sharp for us not getting promoted (despite having Dean Hammond grazing unnoticed in midfield for most of the season).
I'm even prepared to read Pinchy's laboured Bladey Blade shite on yet another thread (quite surprised he's so enamoured with Hoof/Flick/Chase as the new favoured style to be honest).

But I'm fucked if I'm letting THAT go. It's MATHS. There's a big fucking S right at the end. Always has been and always will be until the fucking Americans take control of the world and do away with English as the global language of choice.

I've never understood maths. Do your sums.

The clodhopper finds subtle faults with a strawberry-blonde philosopher. The philosopher meditates, because the hesitantly unruffled onlooker has a change of heart about a cream puff living with a maestro. Jacques and I took some rapacious gonad (with the debutante over a starlet, a pocket, a few mastadons, and a curse) to arrive at a state of intimacy where we can accurately ignore our omphalos. Now and then, the guardian angel for a cream puff admonishes a somnambulist about the swamp.

Sorry I must've misread the thread title/topic, could've sworn it said "Billy Sharp"!??

The fact is, at the moment Clarke seems to be playing better than sharp, he also worth less and fits into welders plans. Its no big secret Wilder hasn't been impressed with sharp so far, and i dont understand why he persists in playing both, when it doesn't seem to work?? Mcnulty deserves a chance, what we got to lose???

Lad on Facebook reckons he's spoken to Billy today and asked if he's leaving, reply was no, just rumours, don't listen.

Fair enough he wouldn't spill the beans to a fan, but if he was off you'd think he'd dodge the answer better

I'm not. I despise it with all the same zeal that I hate misuse of our language. Proper football and language are synonymous. Elegant, sensual, imaginative, evocative. The very antithesis of their respective opposites, the grotesque, repulsive anti-football that is hoof and that ugly distortion of the language of literature, txtspk m8. Each offends the senses in equal measure.

I'm taking Tufty at his word at the moment, he's said on numerous occasions that he wants us to play football; he was a proper player himself, together with noting that his Northampton team played a rapid pass and move, pressing game, far removed from Hoof. For now, I believe its a case of anxious players who don't know each other and lack bottle so, under pressure, they take the easy way out, and that's Kick it Long; Kick it Hard; Kick it High. I wont be happy if it's still happening in a couple of months....

Not sure Billy would want to leave but does Wilder and the board actually want him to stay?

We could save a few quid AND get a new striker that is better than him. I hear we can get some guy called Conor Sammon on loan.

I've been told today by Sebastian (Billy's brother) that he's leaving because wilder wants to build the attack around Clarke. Ipswich is a possible destination it seems.
Well done JL94x4, you've done it again, got everybody wound up about something that you claim to have heard from someone else. I can't believe that people fall for it every time - I don't know what your motives are but I'm convinced that they aren't in the best interests of United or its supporters.

If this is a lie which I think it is (how would Sharps brother know he wants to build round Clark when hes made Billy captain) you need to look at yourself and you wont be taken notice of again

I did write...

you will be one of only a few who will understand that comment.

And here you are too.

We're wasted on here...

His second name was Gray. Don't leave an audience hangin L

When Satdi comes Mr T we will know, bench or up top.

Quite like that Mr T, catchy, surprised no ones thought of it before

Well... i guess this is the sorta conversation that could of happened?

CW: I've decided that you and Clarky aren't working up top and the style i want to play means Clarke will be our target man, so i can't find a way of fitting you into the team.
BS: Ok gaffer, is there any way i can change that?
CW: No Billy, i wanna build the team around Leon.

BS: I was told this morning Wilder wants to build the team around Clarke.
Seb: Really?
BS: Yeah, Ipswich are interested in me, though.

.........................................................I'm not sure this is the exact conversations that took place, its just... well... me using my noggin.

C'mon you're cleverer than that.

Also, I've got a brilliant story about the Sharp brothers from a few years back when Billy had his red Porsche.. Its pretty comical.

So, I gather they're are no offers in for Billy..???

...waits...
