If I believed every rumour that supposedly came from a board member and had a bet on it I'd be bankrupt.

If that's what one of the title but no power directors is saying it's no wonder this club is fucked.

You don't have to name names. It's well lnown which director can't keep his mouth shut to impress people.
Oh mate I really couldn't give a flying fuck what any off ya think. Thought I'd give an insight into why Hauling pulled out of buying us .. But hey I'm a liar so fuck u all pricks

Good. Stop posting bollocks.

Out of all these foreign moneymen latching onto the lets own a football club its just our luck that ours has been nothing short of utter shite.
I would love to see his and mccabes long term "behind closed doors "agenda rarther than the proper gander dross we are led to believe

Can't be that hard to deduce...
There's ONLY six.....

SUFC Board of Directors
Simon McCabe
Scott McCabe
Stephen Bettis
Tareq Hawasli
Selahattin Baki
Martin Green

Put them together and what have you got?
Next year we go into league 2

Love all these random posts popping up about McCabe should sell up etc.....
Love how people think it is that easy to achieve.

WHO, I ask, in their right mind is going to buy a very poor division 3 club who are currently languishing bottom??

What would you like this mythical (and clearly mental) prospective new owner to buy into? The football club? Or the Private Limited parent company? Or both?

Couple that with the complicated "co-ownership" of the football club itself with the elusive Prince.

Yes we are all quite pissed off at the minute and McCabe is taking some stick ( he shouldn't be the only one though as I can't understand why the elusive prince manages to duck any criticism whatsoever when he is just as culpable and just as seemingly disinterested - we have certainly steadily got worse...... - but just for a minute before another post of nonsense is made about getting rid of the board, ask yourself - who has the money to replace what we have? Who has the money to fund a huge restructuring both on and off the pitch? Who has the time to dedicate to doing it? And as I mention above, why would they buy us at the minute?!?

In a perfect world, the McCabes will sell up to rich and enthusiastic new owners and never grace the boardroom at Bramall Lane again taking that prince bloke with him (and leaving the freehold to Bramall Lane and the surrounding land that the club also owns) -But this isn't a perfect world, it isn't going to happen any time soon, so we have to find another way of making do with what we have until such a time comes.
Bear in mind - (and I am in no way defending the costly decisions made off the pitch at that level) - it isn't him that picks the team, it isn't him that scouts the players to be signed, it isn't him that coaches the players.
Yes he hire/fires the managers but who was complaining when Adkins went? Who was complaining when Clough went only to be replaced by Adkins? (Recent year examples. As we all know about the managerial cock ups that have come before it)

Even if you had video evidence of it you'd be a liar round here

At the moment he's very close to presiding over a club that could very well go from the Premiership to the bottom division in 10 years. Whatever he may think that isn't down to bad luck. The only other chairman I can think of in recent times who has been at the helm for such a fall is Karl Oysten. With Oysten you get the feeling it's all about him and the football club comes second. With McCabe it really does seem to be just bad decision after bad decision that has seen us where we are. Nobody can seriously say that to go from the top flight to the bottom one in 10 years is down to anything else other that complete negligence

I realise i'm being hypothetical and jumping the gun here but it's certainly not absurd that we could go down. Has any chairman in history avoided protest like McCabe has whilst being in charge of a club that has sank so low so fast?
That's one thing I can't fathom and it shows how far we have fallen. Most of us are now completely apathetic and can't be bothered to protest. What I really can't fathom is why week after week 19k are turning up to

I can't fathom why that is and can only put it down to all the enthusiasm being drained out of out support, the apathy is pervasive. I also can't fathom why 19k keep turning up every other week to watch this rubbish. The only way McCabe will sell is if people stop going and our average crowd falls to 12k.

And the Prince just has to accept any new bloke coming in as his partner?

Ask your source about shareholders agreements.

Fuck me kids who've shook a directors hand.
Yea shook is hand and he spilled the beans, read my last post answering you, oh and HRH ain't got much say as he ain't invested anything this season

If that's a sly dig regarding the questioning of your post re: £65m claim - they as I mention. Don't make/post claims you can't back up.
I'd screen shot the convo but that would give away their name, and why the hell should I after how you've behaved. Here's a thought, if McCabe was offering a sensible asking price-do you think he'd still be here now

All I've been told is McCabes asking price is 65 million for the club and all property- I'd assume if that were to happen he would give a % of that to HRH based on what he's invested over the previous years

A directors told you that you said. It's not McCabes decision to sell at £x million and give the Prince a %.

There are two elements to a sale. The ground etc and the shares in Blades Leisure Ltd which owns the football club which HRH has put millions into his shares.
Blades Leisure is own 50/50 by SU Limited and the Princes West Indian registered LLC.

Ask your director mate how the sale works.

What are you talking about? He's a 50% shareholder. FFS.

How much has McCabe invested this season? Don't make it up.

Lol.

Now we've got the low down from the grass at boardroom level it's clear why McCabe cantvfibd a buyer. He's apparently trying to sell it fraudulently from under his business partners nose.

If said directors been in charge of finance, it's no wonder we're fucked. Another bad appointment from Kevin :)

Haha after how I've behaved? What calling you out for making claims?

Here's a tip - if you know something and that if you divulge it, you'd compromise the source - don't go running off to the Internet and post it before getting the arse on when someone asks for the proof.

I can post I'm interested in buying United for £100m and will invest a further £100m. Doesn't make it true.

And don't worry. Won't lose any sleep if you do or do not back up the claims. Couldn't care less either way.

McCabe would have bailed years ago if he found the right buyer for the right price. of i remember rightly he pretty much said so a few years back when he said something to the effect of he would sell it but only to the right person that is "good for the club". So even back then he was looking to sell.

Calamity McCabe
