Kevin it really is time for you to sell up. You have to take the hit and sell up at a loss. We need to get someone in that will invest in the team.

Potential buyers have been put off because you want too much money and you want to remain involved. The only way you will ever get your money back is if we get into the Premier League. Then you can ask for the amount you want. We are in league One and you are not going to get your money back.

So you need to invest heavily to get us back into the Premier league or Sell to potential investors at a loss

Most of us feel that you are taking us nowhere but downwards...So put up or go ASAP

I don't even want McCabe to invest. He'd get told of a fantastic player who will cost £x and then he'd spend 80% of that amount on somebody else using his business logic that he'd get 80% of a fantastic player. He'd think that was good enough for us until the player then turns out to be shit. Then he'd continue to repeat the process another couple of hundred times

I want every single board member to go, not just McCabe. It's no use McCabe going and the rest of the two bob "Thousandaires" staying behind with their pathetic small time, small club, small city attitude.

It's got to be foreign investment now, either that or let's just wind it all up

tinpot.

McCabe should be having a good think about how he wants to be remembered.

In the grand scheme of things I'm sure he can afford the loss he'd have to take. You'd think he'd be willing to accept it when the alternative is watching his hometown football club sink into oblivion and letting down thousands of loyal and passionate supporters year after year.

Another laughable post, how arrogant are you to tell the 50% owner that he must sell up.....

Sweetheart, sorry to enlighten you, but its not Aldi and you can't just tell people to get out if they're not buying. Last time i looked, SUFC had two owners and i'm guessing that you're not the Prince... so....

Tell yer wot, I feel bad and I'm sure you all feel bad about the position we are in. But, just imagine being McCabe, sat on the shitter realising you've probabley ****ed it up again with you latest failed attempt to reverse the slide plus a reyt wedge going down the pan when you flush. Paying off Weir, Clough, Adkin's and potentially another 3 year contract plus all their back staff must rankle with him. Expensive mistakes or investment?

Well if he wants say £30m for the ground and Shirecliffe that's valuing the FC at £70m because he only owns half of it.

I'm calling utter bollocks.
65 mill including club & all club property. Believe what you like- I've no reason to lie. Told you all things in the past which u called me this, that n the other which were bang on

I'm not naming names, but it's from a board member

If I believed every rumour that supposedly came from a board member and had a bet on it I'd be bankrupt.

If that's what one of the title but no power directors is saying it's no wonder this club is fucked.

You don't have to name names. It's well lnown which director can't keep his mouth shut to impress people.

At the moment he's very close to presiding over a club that could very well go from the Premiership to the bottom division in 10 years. Whatever he may think that isn't down to bad luck. The only other chairman I can think of in recent times who has been at the helm for such a fall is Karl Oysten. With Oysten you get the feeling it's all about him and the football club comes second. With McCabe it really does seem to be just bad decision after bad decision that has seen us where we are. Nobody can seriously say that to go from the top flight to the bottom one in 10 years is down to anything else other that complete negligence

I realise i'm being hypothetical and jumping the gun here but it's certainly not absurd that we could go down. Has any chairman in history avoided protest like McCabe has whilst being in charge of a club that has sank so low so fast?

ember
If you know so much, how many potential takeovers have gone down the pan so far because of the price-tag?

Hello, HRH owns 50% of Blades Leisure Ltd which owns the club. Do you think he'll just walk away without his millions whileKev pockets £65m? Really?
