New GK (surely?)
Freeman Wilson O'Connell Wright
Coutts Basham Fleck
Duffy Clarke Chapman
Millwall have shown defensive vulnerabilities last night but unfortunately we can't score goals, so forget being too attack minded, they'd just pick us off. I'd go with three in midfield, as Wilder hinted he would, to try and control that area more. Millwall are always 4-4-2 so the central area should be one we have half a chance of coming out on top in. With Coutts and Fleck on the same pitch stringing more than two passes together might even be possible.
As for the full backs, Freeman and Wright couldn't be any worse. Freeman is more combative than Brayford and Wright is at least a proper defender, out of position or not. These two would give us a better chance of winning the battle and conceding less than four. It's not even like we'd be missing out on much from an attacking point of view either.
Done obviously has to be dropped, and in four games we've seen nothing from Billy apart from one goal and it looks like him and Clarke won't be able to play together, at least in a team with no style or cohesion providing no service. If it's a choice of one then it has to be Clarke at the minute. Maybe this line up would see us struggle to get bodies around Clarke, but then again we don't really bother doing that anyway.
