This is the sort of role Neil would say yes to.
This is the person we need right now IMHO

What do you think?

Wilder has had 3 league games. THREE
Wilder would see this as a change in his scope
It would undermine Wilder
Warnock would want his own manager
Mccabe and Warnock fell out when he left

What do you think my response is to your suggestion?

If you are unsure on my thoughts, read your post and mine again

Not in McCabes lifetime. And for the record wtf is a director of feckin football?

Not sure about this suggestion.

Not much of a vote of confidence for our new manager.

No..Colin is in my opinion a not very nice man who thinks more about himself than anything else in the world...

Neil , I think about my myself more than the club Warnock . Not in a month of Sunday's . Too much bad blood still around . Anyway CW is supposedly always on the blower to his mentor Harry . Perhaps that's were he is going wrong .

10 games will define our season and if CW is the man for the job.

Players and managers just don't seem to be able to cope with life at The Lane . This situation is going to get a lot worst before it gets better .

All and sundry are just out of there depth . At least CW has the balls to put things right . Steep learning curve . Name of the game - not get relegated.

Transition season - you bet .

What about a new "director of directors"? Say mark carney or the sultan of oman again?
I know, what about a "fan director"? jonny vegas or sumat to get pissed n av a laugh instead of moanin?
Wotever becomes then the worse we get the hotter cauldron will return, ive screamed at BDTBL for 30 year but feel an outcast these days vocally trying to encourage anything to favour us as its been a quiet non-hostile match day atmos for FAR TOO LONG!

We don't need a "director of football" nobody does.

The manager directs the football, the players do as they are fucking told. If either part of that equation fails then they face the consequences. It's a simple game.

"Director of Football" is one of the most ridiculous titles in modern football.

A definate NO regards letting Warnock anywhere near this club.

When our other managers failed they got the sack. Warnock failed but for some reason some people wanted to keep him.
Because he managed to achieve something before he failed? He got the players to put their bodies on the line and run through walls for the club, and if they didn't they were off. No chances, no excuses. They didn't fight like their lives depended on it, they didn't play. I for once haven't seen anything close to that since he went.

Edit: I don't however want him as a DoF, that isn't what he does.

Looking like originaltrueblade is Colin's Botox Man and has another invoice outstanding.

No reason to think Warnock would be good at it, and no reason to think we'd suddenly be able to defend even if he was.
