I think it's been mentioned before that he suffers from possible depression or anxiety, I think there was an issue at Cardiff regarding this that Clough alluded to when we signed him on loan first time around. I might be wrong but I think if that's the case it's a horrible scenario to be in. Obviously, I think he cares and he loves the city & club quite clearly, I've drank in the same pub as him and his girlfriend previously and I think many who have met him on here will probably say the same that he's a very down to earth man who portrays the anti-stereotypical footballer.

I could understand him being somewhat demoralised, but actual depression, surely not - at least not due to football reasons.

I quite agree ...... its completely preposterous to suggest that anybody involved with the Blades over the last few years could possibly be depressed .........

Goodness me, we've had so much to be grateful for like, new ownership, game changing investment ( like Liverpool ), exciting attacking football, promo ........ er oh !!

I remember reading a post on Bladesmad that alluded to that roundabout the time he signed permanently, obviously I hope it's not true, he obviously loves the club.
