Our away support are fine if we are winning but the minute we go a goal behind then all that beery optimism and cheeriness turns to vile abuse. And please don't say it doesn't because it does. I don't know if you realise how utterly ridiculous you make yourself sound. What if he scores, do you not cheer? Now don't get me wrong if he continues with the previous level of performances he deserves all the shit coming his way as does anyone else underperforming, but at the start of a new season it seems churlish in the extreme to be targeting players for abuse.

This might be an odd idea but how about you give them support at the start of a new season? Just see how it goes? You never know they may just respond and perform well, in which case we are all happy right?

Not a bad rant, responsibility though?, I'd say it's more of a choice, we as fans pay our money, the players have responsibility to try 100%, then the choice is easy.

Here's an idea, why don't you judge players on evidence and not on the basis they are wearing a certain coloured kit.

If Paul Coutts turns out and gives 100% then I'll happily support him.

Evidence under the last 2 managers makes me believe that it's highly unlikely.
