Was going to go but not now. 2 more. Hopefully it will be on Sky!

What's the running total?

I went through the thread totalling it all up, then got to page 10 and deleted the lot off the fucking calculator. Not starting again...I should be working!

I was on £2,700ish - not officially counting those who were saying they weren't sure and presuming all 'sons' mentioned were under the age of 12, just so it wasn't being over-egged.

There's a lot to consider when it comes to ticket pricing.

While I understand the anger at £30 per ticket, which certainly is too much, I'd be interested to know how many of those not going will happily spend £20 on a ticket to Bristol or Gillingham?

Rough guess would be £15 in fuel to drive to Bolton, probably £50+ to get to Gillingham.

I realise you can't use this as an exact guide as to what clubs should charge, as Chesterfield would quickly become £50 a ticket.

The point I'm trying to make is that £30 a ticket to Bolton will still be cheaper than a number of other games at £20. Just something to mull over.

All that being said, I'm still for £20 plenty banners and highwayman masks :)

Okay so I have worked out the total so far ( only included the price of those explicitly saying 1 x £30 or 2 people not going)

I assumed that unless it has been stated that they are a senior/child etc, I have added up £30 for each person who has mentioned that they are not going

Bartman stated that £60 may need to come off his total price (he mentioned it on 3rd page_

Caveblade mentioned that he, his mate and 2 concessions are not going (should be £74)

Boo Radley said that "at least 2, may have been 4" so have only added £60 onto the total.

Marsh blade said x6 ( himself, 3 sons, his mate and his son) 30+7 +7 +7 +30 +7 = 88

Cardero - " 4 more non-attenders here" assuming that is 4 £30 tickets...

TOTAL: £3385

Wonderful work.

Now go back and do it all again at the new £28 price :D

you will need to adjust slightly me and my 3 lads . My lads are aged 22 ,18 and 12 my mates lad is 18 thanks . It will get the better of me and I will end up going because of the blades bug but it's the principle of the greedy bastards that can't run a football club correctly so the fans get the bill .

we all ticked bolton off the list when we last went to hudds :)

me and the old man going to the shay instead.

So if we take 4000 fans paying £30 instead of £20 they are over £600 better off. Get the masks on instead.

Alrighty then, total is give or take at around the £3300/£3400 mark

Six of us not going, 3 adults 3 kids.
I think its disgusting that they could even think of charging so much for a league 1 match!! After the waste of money last year, especially when we binned our season tickets in march, after the absolute shambles of a team WE were subjected to watching, I think the very least McCabe can do is subsidise 50% of the tickets for the fans! How many would go if it was £15/18 a ticket I wonder!!?? Sell out maybe!??

If SUFC were to help the travelling Blades, maybe the travel costs [coach fare] could be reduced?

As we will be charging Bolton fans about the same for their tickets I can't see our board giving a flying one, let alone helping out with travel costs.

I know what you're saying about this and obviously it is more expensive for the cheaper ticket and further travel. However, for me, it's not the point. Your ticket is admission to watch 90 minutes of League One football. I'd rather pay more to travel further and pay for a cheaper match ticket out of principle.

The only way these prices will come down is if people stop paying them.

'Ticket prices are too high, but if you're going to adopt that attitude then you lose the right to come on here moralising. Either you're against these extortionate prices being charged or you aren't.'

Bang on. Don't understand the 'hope we charge them the same' attitude. I wouldn't wish us to stoop so low as to punish loyal fans for what their club chose to do to us, and I'd be very disappointed in us if we charged anyone £28-£30 in this division.

The only way prices will come down is stop paying daft wages to shit players .
