pommpey LS26BLADE Barney robbiez666 and other anti-McCabe wrist slashers!
Desso pitch, Desso pitch!

I've never mentioned the pitch but I'll tell you what I have said.

Last season when we signed Sharp I predicted we'll sell Murphy.

If we sign players for money as we seem to be we will end up selling DCL/Adams/Brayford/Done or Sharp to fund it.

not that your being negative , or anything
I think Murphy going was his choice, ambition sold him
Adkins had the chances to replace him and bring in others
he failed
stop tarring every other manager as being as inept

*you're*

Where have I said Wilder is inept? Or even implied it?

I really don't understand how the board apologists ' can slag pomppey, ls26 etc. We can argue backwards and forwards about signings, sales etc but what is indisputable is we are embarking on our sixth season in division one all overseen by a man who said 'Europe in 5 years' Is there any wonder people are sceptical?

This type of mismanagement would have resulted in the chairman being kicked out in virtually any other 'company' but the fact we are owned by McCabe means he can continue as he likes.

Please tell me why he should avoid criticism ?

Because chairmen of other companies don't fund them out of their back pocket? People seem to think McCabe wants us to fail and appointments shit managers in purpose

I have to say, signing someone who's been at Coventry for three years pretty much cancels out the last five years.

So central midfield partnership of fleck and Duffy? Sounds great to me.

sort of gives any positive moves by Wilder a swift kick in the bollocks
as its totally unfounded
name a season weve sold 5 of our players

How very Wednesdayite is that though? So not arsed she never even mentioned it to her husband!

Typical pig ...... spends most of their life under a stone ....... comes out for a semi-final or a play-off final to declare "always supported Wed***day you know" !!

You're creeping back in to this habit you were in for the first 3/4 of last season. The point being made, quite simply, is that due to the interest and purported significant bidding with regards to Adams and DCL, that money may be used to cover incomings, therefore meaning a net spend of 0, or a net spend of very little. Therefore putting your cloud cuckoo scenario of Daddy McCabe being a wonderful chairman and digging in to his pockets, firmly out of the window.

I never said we'd sell all 5 .

But there's a few seasons in recent history where we've dismantled the team and got rid of good players

All conjecture , when we sell 4 for big money your theory might gain some gravitas
As it stands Adams look likely to advance his career in a higher league

You post again when weve sold 4

Doesn't matter how many, it's the amount they go for and whether it covers incomings.

well chris , like Adkins before him has been given a budget
difference is Chris will use it

you should smell the coffee and embrace the difference
this campaign wont carry last seasons woeful lack of movement
I gave Adkins backing till in january it became blindingly obvious he was a prat
he kept saying he was bringing in players , but never did

Isn't it good business to build a championship winning side with a net spend of zero?

It certainly is. Early days though so let's see how they all get on, gel and play before talking about championships and stuff.

my criticisms were about his media work and not about him as a football manager. Overall, good signings. The proof is obviously when we actually start the season.
