New away kit

Quite like that.
The badge goes, the sponsor goes. Why do we find it so difficult to blend?
Make the badge transparent for the away kit and have alpharooms in full orange. Would make a million miles of difference.

I remember the last time we did it, 2004 orange away kit. We blended the badge, made it orange rathe rthan red then plastered a MASSIVE BLUE BOX SAYING HFS LOANS ON IT!!!

It's so Sheffield United it's untrue.

Could be worse I suppose. Reminds me of West Brom's new away kit but with orange instead of blue (for obvious reasons). Think we should get Umbro in as soon as Adidas leave- templates can only go so far.
Nah, I love Adidas kit's and I hope we stick with them. But if they were to go it'd be Umbro for me too.

Nike have gone to the dogs, the embarrassment at the euros with every kit the same just with different colours has been daft. Our kit is the same as the United States as well. Puma are shit too.

Umbro, New Balance or Under Armour for me if us and Adidas finish after the 4 years are up.

That got me googling: this was Brentford's last year and proves that Adidas can do a good, simple red and white striped shirt. Kinda wish ours had been like this (much as I liked the pinstripe effort).

Got to be honest I think our home kit is lovely, as nice as that is I've no problem with our home effort this year

Agreed on this year's United effort...but that's last year's Brentford kit. Same template as ours from last season.

Ah yeah I see what you mean, this years is a triumph though

Wasn't too impressed by Adidas' first home and away effort, the sponsor ruined the home kit, and it had no black. But I'll blame the club for that cos I think they're in charge of printing. Away kit was out of the training catalogue last minute.

Last seasons were both nice, this seasons are both nice but the away kit would've been better had United made the sponsor and badge orange and transparent to match the shirt

It's obviously designed to be 'leisure wear' ie wearable with jeans etc. I like it. Others won't. That's how personal preference works. Some people will like this kit and buy it, some won't. That will always be the case because we have individual taste, we're not clones.

Seems to be a thing with Adidas. Unless you are a major club, it's pretty much a slightly different take on the same template. They CAN do nice shirts, Benficas from a couple of years ago had the Eagle printed into the design.

Should ask Man City if they're happy with this seasons Nike effort.

With the shorts it looks terrible. As a shirt on it's own it might be decent, hard to tell from that picture. alpharooms looks a bit bland on the home kit (what with it being a boring font in boring black) , at least it's a bit more vibrant here. I prefer this V neck collar to the dull as dishwater round-ish neck collar on the home shirt too. Unsure why they put the adidas logo in white though, that would have been better in orange too I think. You can't see the orange shoulder stripes here but I think they will compliment it nicely. This may not be as bad as this crappy photo suggests.

ps: look at the 92-94 and 96-97 classic kits - the shield shape blades emblem is better right?

I have a deep suspicion that one of the following has occurred:-
(a) Sun Ji thinks he may have been rumbled and is putting out false info for cover.
(b) Sun Ji has left the building but allowed his account to continue to be used by another.
(c) Sun Ji's account has been hacked.

(d) Nurse, have we lost another patient?

Poxy crap kit with no remote link to our proud and wonderful history.

In its favour, IT IS NOT BLUE.

Honestly not seen it Matt, is it bad?

Edit: Just had a look. I take it they don't like it? I know I don't.

It was more a response to "only big clubs get bespoke kits"..

It's the Nike template that is used for both England kits, both France, USA, Portugal etc. etc. etc.

So basically, even Man City don't get a bespoke kit.

Too much going on for me.

It's as if they've tried too hard and ended up over thinking the designing of it.

I know what you mean but, you look at it and you think - "yeah, that's a Southampton shirt"

For example...

What history? It's a change kit. Over the years we've worn white, black, green, mustard, orange, yellow, dark blue, black and white, yellow and a sort of wine colour, burgundy, lime, macaw, purple and yellow and probably a few more. Both black and orange are in that list, which makes more than a remote link to our history.

I looked at it and thought "Exeter" (no disrespect to them). I think it's awful - the stripes on the side panel are at the wrong angle and the white on the front doesn't work. Almost as bad as that asymmetrical Pony kit.
The black and orange isn't too bad I suppose. Not a huge fan of black football shirts myself.

Why black n orange again, the first time it was shit the second time it's worse, personally think it's time Adidas fucked off!!
