Who do we think we will face on the opening day. I'm going for Bristol Rovers at home.

It's easier to say who I DONT want:

Any of the three Championship relegated teams
(Charlton, MK, Bolton)

Any of the four League 2 promoted teams
(Bristol Rovers, *Northampton, *Oxford, Wimbledon, )

Any local derby
(Chesterfield, Bradford)

Any of CW ex teams
(*Northampton, *Oxford)

The reason is simple -
I want our first match to be at 3.00pm on Saturday, if our first fixture involves any of the above teams, the temptation will be too great for SKY to televise our game and move the fixture to Friday/Saturday (lunchtime or evening)/Sunday/Monday

The leaked fixture list said Oldham at home on August 6th, Bolton away on 13th, Wimbledon away on 16th and Millwall at home on 20th.

Not sure if this list is still believed or not.

Let's hope for a return of some magic.
