Clips of our goals below, so you can avoid some of the god-awful commentary.

The Pig in particular is an utter twat, typical Wednesdayite really. A grating nasally whine getting his opinion as universal fact, desperately trying to get our commentator and John Helm to agree with his view that they are a magical side and United were lucky to be on the same pitch as them. His 'excuse' after Booker scored is a great example, fucking bell end.

Ah. Looks like it plays the whole lot, and no one wants to see that!

Check Deane's goal at 33mins, and Booker from 84mins 40 secs.

I was on the pigs kop for that game and it is the ZDS cup ( zenith data systems)

Yes, not sure why I typed that as my house is jam packed full of Zenith Data Systems products.

I was in the dodgy triangle in the corner for this game. If I remember rightly, they opened the top tier of the leppings lane stand for the first time since the Liverpool tragedy for this game?

i went, was in the piggy end somewhere (north stand i think), but i cant really remember owt of the game. didnt even know we lost. i mean im sure at the time i knew we lost, but its a non existent memory now! i think my brain must have erased it to make room for the league double a few years later! :D

Yeah that's right, I was stood on the corner bit too, SYP were shitting bricks and had our bit of the crowd on camera the whole game.
btw the last time that I ever went to the sty (hate the place)

Thanks for sharing this! It's not how I remember the game at all. In my mind, Booker's equaliser was from a corner, and was a header. I can picture it quite clearly in my mind's eye, so I don't know how that particular memory was made up. I can even 'see' him being mobbed by fans as he celebrated, but the lower tier was obviously empty so my brain is having some fun with me there, too.

I tell you what else: Simon Tracey was a bloody fantastic 'keeper.

im sure i went in that triangle bit on bobby davison day. cos i got soaked.

now i think about it maybe i went in the away stand for the zds thing. ive been in the piggy stands twice for derby games though. just not sure which ones. what was the one where nathan blake missed that sitter?

You're thinking of Bent missing a sitter in the League Cup game on 1/11/00. Blake never played in a comeptitive derby.

Oh yes he did................... all derbies are competitive
