Did I imagine it or has the lad Viggars, now seemingly on trial at Burnley, been in and around the Welsh junior setup too?Jordan Ammisah is eligible for Ghana

Yes, Ryan has played age group football for Wales. But Classof85 has started the hares. The implication was that a youngster had been asked to train with his FULL International colleagues. I can't believe that was Ryan.Did I imagine it or has the lad Viggars, now seemingly on trial at Burnley, been in and around the Welsh junior setup too?
Of course "you don't know until you give them a go"You don’t know unless you give them a go. Most sink, some thrive, some it brings out levels above they’ve ever previously been capable of.
It’s a nice sound bite but yes you can have a pretty good idea from seeing them around the first team. You don’t know unless you give them a go. Most sink, some thrive, some it brings out levels above they’ve ever previously been capable of.
Oh I gave you a like and had to remove it for the Dids in the number 10 role suggestion. To be honeat id sooner we give Brewster a go. He cost a fortune and doesnt play.
Many are saying wait til next season and he will tear the xhampionship a new one...well why not get next seasons partnership blooded now?
Given how shit our midfield is and the fact we lose virruslly every game anyway why not play Brewster and McBurnie up front with Didzy behind and prepare for next season?
If this is true we need to know more. Like names. PleaseLike i said if your face fits, theres very good players there that are being treated terribly. 1 player has been invited to go train with his nations1st team only to be told that when he comes back there is no place for him. All because he is going to train with full internationals. Now im sure we should be encouraging that in young players????
You don’t know unless you give them a go.
WrongTheres fundamental issues at the academy, all down to 1 person, Jack Lester, he doesnt judge players on ability its if their face fits.
That is from a source within the u-23's
Presumably a source who's face doesn't fit
These players are a year away. If these players were good enough they would be in. Jack doesn't manage the u23s he is the Academy Director and when he was at Forest lots of his players went into the first team. Can you seriously believe that Wilder gets to choose only the players that Lester decides he likes (of a team Lester doesn't manage).Theres fundamental issues at the academy, all down to 1 person, Jack Lester, he doesnt judge players on ability its if their face fits.

Heckingbottom is the U23 manager not Lester.Interesting to hear but I think you have to judge Lester on the performance of the u23’s and they are flying....just need to start seeing a couple breaking into the first team

They’ll never be good enough if they don’t get a chance to play at levels that will improve themIts funny how we see so many other clubs blooding 16 and 17 year olds at this point of the season year after year (who have never been on loan and been previously only with youth team) but when it comes to Sheffield United our own fans are like nah our youth are shite don't let them have a go!!![]()
Don't agree, you introduce young players into games gradually when things are going well. They’ll never be good enough if they don’t get a chance to play at levels that will improve them![]()
Or they show heaps of energy. Come off as one of our better players during the game and come away with pundits giving them big rapsDon't agree, you introduce young players into games gradually when things are going well.
Throwing them in against Liverpool to get absolutely mullered will do nothing to help their development
Elephant man.Presumably a source who's face doesn't fit![]()
Any examples this season? Its funny how we see so many other clubs blooding 16 and 17 year olds at this point of the season year after year
Oh do me a fucking favour, would it fuckPredictable thread. No reason to just throw kids into a game like this because the first team isn’t doing well. Would destroy some kids being chucked into this.
So why do loan players get sent to struggling clubs in any division?Don't agree, you introduce young players into games gradually when things are going well.

Guessing this is coming from someone who’s never seen him play nor has much understanding on he matter.Oh do me a fucking favour, would it fuck
How would you know I’ve never seen the lad play?Guessing this is coming from someone who’s never seen him play nor has much understanding on he matter.
