We're live on BT Sport away to Woking on Saturday, 17:20 ko. If you have enough energy left after Huddersfield, there is an opportunity to see Lopata, definitely, and Neal, possibly, in action for us.
Definitely going to watch, thanks for the heads up 👌

A game of two halves if ever there was one. We cruised the first 45 comfortably, but credit to Woking they really got stuck in in the second half. We certainly showed the resilience to come back and nick the winner. Those of you that watched you got to see both of your lads. I though Lapata was a strong young man today standing up against the giants of Woking's front line. Neal got a good 30 mins again at certainly stiffened our middle .

We're dropping in on Maidenhead mid March. Aside from that result I hope you do stay up. Nobody should wish relegation on any team (well maybe Colchester or Wednesday exceptions?).

Goes without saying, mate, no one wants to see the grubbies doing well.

What Shrimpers are saying about Lopata yesterday:

First half they didn’t get a kick. Lopata pick of the bunch for me.

Arnold 7 Hobson 7 Lopata 8 Ralph 7 Demetriou 7 Atkinson 7 Husin 7 Clifford 7 Powell 8 MOTM Cardwell 8 Dalby 7 Neal 6

Hobson and Lopata, yes a little mistake today, but most of the game they are oozing with confidence and it's lovely to see them dominate attackers

Said at half time, Lopata was having a great game - and he continued so to do in the second 45.

Lopata 8 - machine, is he really that young as he plays with such maturity

Although we are still in the middle of Red Alert (75 mph wind) our game tonight against Grimsby at the Hall is still currently going ahead. Both East and West stand roofs are intact (ish).

Quote from a ShrimperZone poster:

BREAKING NEWS:

Storm Eunice has taken out a section of the o2 Arena roof, however, it failed to get past Kacper Lapota...

Nicked this from the Grimsby board. Should appeal to you lot.

Storms really started to kick in up here roots type of weather where the goalie is more likely to concede an own goal from a goal kick than get it over the half way line if you’re kicking into the wind.

It’ll be an experience if they do go ahead 😂

I'm reckoning they will, there was a ref's inspection at 4 and there have been two ground inspections with no signs of call off. We've sold 7k worth of home tickets so they want the dosh more than anything else probably, merchandise etc. No trains and buses running though so outlying fans are t/f'd. As for Grimsby fans, maybe a trawler or two round the coast?..................bit unkind. I've got a big SUFC puffer coat, so although not a Northerner, me and her are ready for the fray with one eye on the West Stand roof all game. It's asbestos so we will either get crushed or get showered in asbestos dust. Better wear our masks tonight😷

Won’t be one for the purists then both teams trying to pass as little as possible 😂 if there’s one solitary soul in the away end they want a medal 😂

Some are already down and living the vida loca in Southend. Mind you, the Hight Street has been shut down today by the Council, still there is always the Sea Front watching the waves coming over the top of the sea walls!

Looks like we both called that one wrong Yogi. Supporters are a hardy breed it seems

They’re not wired up right I know we’ve had some run ins with them in the past during the preseason
"Grimsby. Food town of Europe" is their tagline.

Should be

"Grimsby. Place where pills come in from mainland Europe and are available for pennies"

So, from what I can gather, Brunt went out to Notts County but not getting a start and Neal who replaced him at Southend is not getting a start?

So off to Eastleigh we went tonight and went behind after 8 minutes and it took until the hour mark for us to draw level although we did dominate the game from then on. Not too much else to say although Kacper had his usual high standard game and a screamer of a drive on goal that the keeper saved (git), and he is pulling 8s so far on player ratings, but it was our Afghan international (we're proud of him) who volleyed home an exquisite goal to snatch the point. Harrison Neal only managed 7 minutes of proper time and is probably paying the price for his bookings because the team has really performed without him. However, I reckon he will get a start on Saturday against Solihull Moors at the Hall as we are in need of his steel for the 90 minutes. Solihull Moors? Jeez, the Team names really do get you excited don't they. I love the National League.......................🙄

You'll be coming up against another of our highly rated youth loans, Harry Boyes, playing LWB for Solihull and doing a grand job of it by all accounts! Should be an interesting game for Blades to keep an eye on
