But unsurprisingly all of my piggy mates support other premiership teams probably more so than the pigs.
They support Arsenal, Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea Liverpool even bloody West Ham.
Some even buy the above clubs shirts.

I couldnt do that, even with Enfield. I used to send them a cheque for the price of a shirt as a donation every two years.

When I lived in Swansea all the Taffs supported an English PL side and kept an eye out for Swanseas scores. In the last few years it turns out that they were going to the Vetch when they were in Division Four all along. It'll be interesting to see what happens to their fan base when they start plummeting through the divisions.

The Limit Club, especially Thursday 50p a pint night. Saturdays became too full of pigs after about '87 or was it is it just that I noticed and knew em more... After that stuck to The Leadmill as my second club.

Had a brief flirtation with Roxys in 85/86, as one of football mates knew the bouncers and we got in free and went looking for crumpet. Then that too became a bit pig centred and recall someone on the door called 'X' who didn't like Blades...

St Phillips Working Mens Club for the Bull breed evening on the second Tuesday of each month offered something different midweek.

After that lost interest in clubs really and preferred lock ins or the odd blues club, though not the hard core ones just the Spital Hill one, though that too became too dodgy after a while. Think someone got shot there the year after I stopped going in about '90

Nowadays, The Minster Legion, Whitstable Sailing Club or Herne Bay Angling Club are the nearest I get to any clubs and that's for the price of beer and that old fashioned feeling of male camaraderie that I quite like.

My wife says I've changed, though I still love a meat raffle!

First team I ever watched as a kid was Scarborough, so still have a soft spot for them. Always look for their results (not so easy to find these days!).

One of the oldest clubs in the country, and a once proud football league club (led by Warnock and Pressman no less, with the Short brothers playing CB), no team has had it so bad (Take notes Coventry!).

From THAT famous last game of the season, last minute Jimmy Glass goal (a keeper signed by another team in a relegation spot, unbelievably sanctioned by the FA, outside of the first ever transfer window!), to being dissolved 10 years ago (for debts to the local council!!!), having their 110 year old stadium sold to a housing developer, and the reformed team playing the last 9 seasons in Bridlington. A very sad demise.

A lot of blades links btw (as anyone who saw the Warnock documentary will tell you). In addition to the above, they've been managed by Nick
Henry and Mark Patterson.

I've got a soft spot for ADO Den Haag too - had a season ticket for two years when I lived in The Hague. The Millwall of the Netherlands - no-one likes them, but they don't care.

Rufus Smalls I lived in Perth from 2001 to 2008, and I watched the Glory sometimes. Could never get into the A-League though - standard seemed very modest, and so I ended up watching much more Aussie Rules and then got a season ticket for the Western Force once the egg-chasing started up.

My loyalty to the Blades is never in doubt, but I left South Yorkshire more than thirty years ago and my work has had me living in different parts of the world. I love football so I have ended up 'adopting' various local teams along the way. Even had a Singapore S-League team for a while - but Tanjong Pagar FC (red and white stripes, natch) went bust a couple of seasons ago. RIP the Jaguars.

I'll love the Blades till my dying day, but there's nothing wrong with a little bit on the side now and again.

I've thought about this a lot. Chesterfield is my home town so, if I was forced into picking a second club, it would be them. I do watch them occasionally and I like to see them doing well, except for when they play us of course. I've also flirted with the idea, in the past, that I should pick a little Scottish team for my second club - and that has led me to take an interest in some lower league Scottish clubs, particularly ones with unusual names, like Cowdenbeath (the Beasties) and Stenhousemuir (The Warriors) and Partick Thistle (The Jags). I love it especially if I've absolutely no idea what part of Scotland they are in - and for many of them it's impossible to tell! For example, "St Johnstone". There's no such place as "St Johnstone" in Scotland. (St Johnstone is just the name of the team, not the area. A bit like you get "Port Vale" - in England, which is not a place either, just the name of the team that plays in Burslem).

Ultimately I've come to the conclusion that I don't think it's possible to have a second team - not for me it's not anyway. Because the relationship is never the same, nowhere near. There's no other team that I am desperately keen to watch whenever I possibly can. There's no other team that I would drive to the other end of the country to watch. There's no other team that I get nervous about before they play. There's no other team that gives me tremendous highs and occasional lows. There's no other team where I can tell you the names of players going back over 40 years. There's no other team that I actually care about. It's impossible for me to have feelings for any other club. Only the Blades does it for me. Every other club in the land could go tits up and I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep over it. That's how I feel about it.

I enjoy watching other teams occasionally - but it does absolutely nothing for me compared to watching the Blades.

I don't have a second club, I look out for results of other teams due to family and friends, but that's more just so I can talk about their results when I see them.

I think if United ever went bust, I'd just go and watch non-league teams like Hallam and Sheffield FC now and again. It could never be the same.

Used to check Rushden & Diamonds results because I once had them on Champ Manager. Got them out of conference and up to Prem. I was very pleased when the really got up into L1... Now dissolved but our Billy Boy did used to play for them on loan.

My 2nd team is England.

Unless their results directly affect us, I also want Barnsley, Rotherham and Chesterfield to win each week (imagine that's a bit weird!?)

I spent a large period living in Lincolnshire so now keep my eye on Boston United & Lincoln City. Another team I keep an eye out for is Coalville Town as I also lived there shortly too.
On a trip to Thailand I took in a Chonburi FC game so have a look for them when I remember.

Now I'm close to Derby I know a lot of Derby fans and so have a slight soft spot for them as I find I enjoy talking to their fans about football, which you can't seem to with Forest fans who you must talk about how great Forest are (they seem a similar lot to Wendy fans).

It's been that long since a Steel City Derby, that I almost look out for the pigs' results with no remorse whatsoever.

That said, Man City were always my 2nd team due to my Dad going to Maine Road when he was younger. That was ruined when they were bought out, but hey ho.

Not got one really, I look out to see how Forest get on as the Mrs family are from down there and are fans. Can't even say that England are my second team, can't stand the twats tbh.

If I had to be pushed towards a second team I would have to say Barcelona, only reason being that when I was a kid my parents took me to Spain, ended up getting me a Barca shirt with number 10, Romario on the back. That's the only shirt I've ever had that's not a United shirt.

Don't get this second club thing to be honest,it reminds me of towns like Barnsley,Rotherham,Donny and loads of other places who all of a sudden stop supporting ManU from the sofa as the local team down the road are doing well..then crawl back to the sofa when the bad times arrive.
I've enjoyed watching various teams if they're on tv like Arsenal when they were good to watch and Barca,but that's as far as it goes...only interested in the Blades,however I do like to see Sheffield Club and Hallam do well.

Ive no interest in a second league team, although I follow Gainsborough Trinity as non league option, being nearest non league team to home along with Brigg Town. £5 off entry price at Trinity with season ticket for any other club. A treat to come across someone from Glasgow who doesn't follow one of the Auld Firm, but I always thought the Jags' full title was Partick Thistle Nil.
