Hey Guys,
I'm trying to remember my first game. Is there a website detailing all our results from every season?
I know it was the 85/86 season and I've found a cup game I went to (0-1 vs Derby) but there were definitely a few league games before that.

First game - v Newcastle mid 70s at Lane & we lost 0-1

Fave player- probably Glenn Cockerill, because of his effort/work rate & energy. Not his fckn haircut!

Fave game - no question, away at Filbert Street, Leicester when we went up with Harry 2-5, 1990??

Fave goal- as others have said, got to be Brownies against the other lot.

Fave away ground- I'm probably biased but I always think there's a decent atmosphere at The Swans ground, The Liberty Stadium.

Loftus road is horrible

I like the fact that the stands are close to the pitch. It is a good old fashioned ground IMO and put that together with a few hours round that Londons pubs then it makes for a good day.( Like last season).
Ive been to 135 grounds (mostly with The Blades) and I must admit that BDTBL is the best Ive been in. Walking up the steps at the back of the Kop and looking down at the pitch and stands still puts a smile on my face, well, apart from last season!.

First Game Attended: Away vs Hull at Boothferry Park in about 1987 - Dad's a Hull fan so we were sat on their end with my Mum and brother sitting on their hands keeping quiet - rumour has it I cheered for Hull but I was only 8 and copying my Dad so think I can be forgiven - it was a 0-0 draw. First game at Bramall Lane was the same teams and the same scoreline in the 89/90 promotion season but I knew what was going on this time so was firmly a Blade.
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh):
Glyn Hodges
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Forest play-off semi - incredible rollercoaster
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Hodges lob against Man U in the Cup - 'this man's left foot is magic!'
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Boring answer but probably Old Trafford

That top tier at Loftus Road has the worst leg room of any ground I've ever been to - I absolutely battered the poor woman in front of me so god help her if we'd have scored!

1st game I attended was Blades 2 Stoke 0 Div 1 1975.

Favourite player is Brian Deane

Favourite game was Leicester 2 Blades 5 1990

Favourite goal was Michael Brown v Pigs in 3-1 win

Favourite ground Old Trafford

Bank details are 12-44-66 5653321 :)

First Game Attended: 14 Aug 1971 - Blades 3 Southampton 1
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): TC/Woody
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Darlington
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Quality Goal by quality player
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Best - Emirates. Favourite - The Valley
Online banking details including passwords and security question information (only kidding :D). You need to speak to this gentlemen. He deals with all my financial matters.

First Game Attended: United 1 Blackburn2 in 93/94 season. Andy Scott gave us the lead but Shearer scored a brace.
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Not sure, maybe Dane Whitehouse.
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Forest playoff semi, although Coventry cup semi in 1998 was the first time I really lost my shit.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Jags vs Leeds
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium) Highbury for character over Old Trafford's size. I quite enjoyed St James and WHL as well.

1. Can’t remember- It was in the 88/89 season. It was cold. I was 4 years old and we were playing against a team in blue. Think it might have been Southend/Birmingham/Leicester ?

2. Dane Whitehouse just pips Alan Kelly and Brian Deane for his bladey bladeness.

3. Playoff semi v Forest just pips the superb Alan Kelly on St Pats day v Coventry in 98.

4. Tough one- Saunders v Vale though (honourable mention to Borbokis v Sunderland, Brown v Pigs and Jags v dirties).

5. I’ve done Old Trafford a few times and that’s the best but I’ve never been as an “away fan”. I’ve been to see us in semis against Newcastle and Arsenal there and I’ve been so see England a couple of times there. Best ground as an away fan would probably have to be St James Park. It’s a very impressive ground but not ideal for the away fans putting them in opposite corners of the ground making it difficult to generate atmosphere. I also liked Main Road, Highfield Road (why did they move to the god-awful Ricoh?), Highbury, Anfield and oddly enough Nene Park (like being in a tiny Wembley).

A lot of us have put Old Trafford.

Maybe it's because of the same reason as myself, walking into a packed Old Trafford supporting the very top team in the land, watching George Best score "that" goal (voted best in the Decade by the BBC), and walking out after losing 2-0, and STILL supporting the very top team in the land!

(Downhill after that though)

Enjoyed my both visits to Old Trafford in 1973 though!

First Game Attended: 4-0 vs Watford 97-98 season, got my first Blades shirt given to me sat outside the Earl of Arundel and it drowned me
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): I was a huge Nuddy fan, loved Morgan, but my favourite has to be Jags. The man played well in any position he was, even in net!
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Just to be different...Forest play-off second leg. Oh my god!
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Again, to be different it has to be Brownie vs Pigs, but Scougall's at Wembley was an amazing feeling too.
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Maybe the Emirates

First Game Attended: First memory is Stoke away 2-1 win October 1973 - Colquhoun scored in both nets !
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Alan Woodward, with TC, Brian Deane and Keith Edwards close seconds.
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): 4-3 Playoff win over Forest. Special mentions go to a 6-0 thumping of West Brom, and the 5-3 victory over Cardiff, with all goals in the 2nd half.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Probably Dane Whitehouse in the 3-2 win against West Ham in 1994 - a thunderbolt in slow motion !
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Highbury.

That will have been the Anglo Scottish Cup in August 1976. A big fight broke out in the Kop after Newcastle scored early in the match

Yeah I had my scarf nicked by a big greasy Geordie that day, and was angry (and stupid - I was 14) when the fight broke out - I started to run down towards it to get revenge only to feel a grab at my arm holding me back. Thought I was being arrested till i turned round and saw my mate holding on to me..."don't get involved, leave it alone".

Good job he did. Those NUFC fans that came on the kop for trouble were the 15 biggest blokes I'd ever seen. There was one big bloke with dark hair and a beard, but the rest of them all looked the same: Square jawed, massive, square bodied meat-heads with very short hair, tats and ugly grins on their faces to a man. After the match they charged down Shoreham street looking for more trouble but kept heading straight to the station once there was a large mob of about a 100 following them. (I'd still have put my money on those geordies that day).

First Game Attended: Can't really remember. think it may have been against Blackpool in the late 80's. Remember my first away game tho - 2-1 win at Anfield in 93.

Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Loved Petr Katchouro for some reason. Saw him score a hat-trick against Bury.

Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): FA Cup 1/4 Final Replay Vs Coventry. Me and my Brother's first trip across without the rents.

Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Brown Vs Pigs. Honorable mentions for Jags Vs Boro and Nade Vs Arsenal

Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium):
St James' Park. Great stadium right in the middle of the city center.

Also worth noting i haven't seen us win in the flesh since we beat Middlesbrough 1-0 on 16th Jan 2010.

First game attended: the absolute thriller of United 0-1 Walsall in the 2001-2002 season.

Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): There hasn't been loads of heroes since 2002 but Michael Brown in the Triple Assault season was unstoppable and Jags is probably up there.

Favourite Blades game of all time (that you have attended): 3-2 victory over Hull in 2005/2006 has to be up there due to what it meant for promotion. As Large Mendonca said, the 5-3 victory over Cardiff in 2003-2004 was an entertaining game.

Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you have witnessed): Michael Brown's goal vs Ipswich in the cup in 2002-2003 was a great goal. The Jags goal vs. Middlesbrough in the 2006-2007 season was also very good.

Best away ground you have been to (not Wembley or Millenium Stadium): Old Trafford.

And I bet you were hooked! It was my third game before I saw a goal from either side (2-2 draw with the Dingles in 1989/90) and my fifth before I saw us win (2-0 v Spurs in April 1992).

Season after I had my first season ticket and started off by beating Man United 2-1 in the first game of the Premier League... and the rest as they say is history.

1. Wrexham. 1982. Won 2-0. Think Edwards came on as a sub and scored.
2. Edwards.
3. First win in 1st Div under Bassett. (Forest).
4. Edwards' dummy.
5. Highbury. Best location and setting is Craven Cottage.

I am in no doubt that this has probably been done to the hills on a forum such as this that has been around for an eternity. However I am relatively new to the place and if anything it will give me an idea of who I am talking with on here as I don't know anyone from adam really and it comes across a bit blunt if I just ask how old people are :D.

You don't have to do it but I would appreciate it if people could share there answers to the below.

First Game Attended: Losing 0-1 at home to Bolton sometime before the 70/71 promotion season
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): TC (with Woody/Keith/Cockerill/Deano amongst many others)
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Forest PO semi at the Lane (God bless Des Walker)
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Brownie v the Filth
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Best is Old Trafford favourite would be Carrow Road for the amazing Blades atmosphere at the 2-3 FA Cup defeat late 80's.
Online banking details including passwords and security question information (only kidding :D).

Cheers in advance for anyone who takes part.

Versus Plymouth Argyle 1960
Len Badger and Alan Woodward
5-3 versus West Ham at home 1965 or 1966
Len Badger - top right hand corner Kop end after 60 yard run - can't recall who against
Old Trafford

First Game Attended:
Was an away game in div 4, not sure who - was a nipper

Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh):
Tommy Cowan or Gary Cahill

Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended):
MUFC FA cup 5th round

Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed):
Akinbye volley at Hillsborough

Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium):

First Game - V Coventry City in old Division 1 1975/6 we lost 1-0 I was hooked!
Player - Alan Woodward for me simply the greatest player ever to don the red & white.
Match - Blades v Fulham old div 2 late 70's. Fulham had George Best, Rodney Marsh and Bobby Moore in their side and we had the legend known as Jimmy Johnstone in ours!
Goal - Jags v Leeds in the League Cup 2002/3 Screamer at a vital time!
Ground - Elland Road in the standing days, what an incredible atmosphere!

UTB!

First Game Attended: Utd 2 Carlisle 2 1971
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh):Gil Reece
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended):Cardiff 5-1 1971
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Kevin Arnott v Southend away 1984
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): White Hart Lane

First Game Attended: August 1971 3-0 v Leeds
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): TC
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Darlington
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Des Walker og v Forest. I knew we had won it then!
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Always liked Roker Park. Fantastic atmosphere although I'm not sure I ever saw us win there. Did once see Sabella score a fabulous goal there but I think we were 4 down at the time and ended up losing 6-1

I notice 1971 looks like a vintage year.

3 of the most sensible guys on here saw their first game, myself, sitwell and southessexblade.

pure class that vintage ;-)

First Game Attended: 1-1 v Hull at Lane on Jan 19 1980 - Len de Goey (pornstar) scored
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Difficult one, it was Tony Kenworthy, then Deano.
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): So many to choose from but either 2-0 v Owls in 1991 or 2-1 v Man Utd FA Cup 1993
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Too many to choose from, up there would be Hodges chip over Schmeichel in FA Cup game above and possibly even Scougall's goal in the semi v Hull meaning we were in dreamland at half time, thinking, this is the blades we are watching isn't it?
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Got to be Notts County as I've been 3 times! hahaha! no, probably Molyneux as it was very well organised getting out and getting home, circa 1994/95.

Tony Kenworthy was in my mind too. Iconic Blade - epitomised real men, not very big but a giant on the field. Strength of purpose, character and Bladeyness! Yet he had a touch of class on the ball and a real style about him. Just what we need now, despite his height!!

First Game Attended: As a street urchin living round the corner from BDTBL, I used to sneak into games long before I ever paid to watch one. First legit game was Blades v Hull City 1980.
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Brian Deane
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Tough one. I'd say Blades v Man Utd 5th Round FA Cup 1993. It had everything - Man U were hot favourites. We went behind to Giggs' goal, then Hoyland's scrambled goal and Hodges' sublime chip over Schmeichel put us 2-1 up before the break, Ince's theatrical dive to earn Man U a penalty, put wide by Steve Bruce.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Michael Brown v Wendies. Absolute corker.
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Old Trafford
