I am in no doubt that this has probably been done to the hills on a forum such as this that has been around for an eternity. However I am relatively new to the place and if anything it will give me an idea of who I am talking with on here as I don't know anyone from adam really and it comes across a bit blunt if I just ask how old people are :D.

You don't have to do it but I would appreciate it if people could share there answers to the below.

First Game Attended:
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh):
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended):
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed):
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium):
Online banking details including passwords and security question information (only kidding :D).

Cheers in advance for anyone who takes part.

First Game Attended: Cannot remember details but my first "game" was in 1955 at Hillsborough, taken by my Owls supporting Uncle, followed by a visit to Bramall Lane the following Saturday - since then I've ALWAYS been a Blade, even though the rest of my family (at that time) were all "unclean", and at one time I was on the Wednesday groundstaff! (All my direct descendants are Blades - I've made sure of that).

Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Alan Woodward

Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Home v Cardiff City 1971 (the night I decided to ask my girlfriend to be my wife - 42 years married in a fortnight's time)

Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Tony Curry first game (v Spurs, I think)

Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): probably Old Trafford

First Game Attended: Forest Dec1962
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): TC
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): see travelling Blade above. Managed not to spoil it by proposing to anyone though.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Brown v Pigs 2002/2003
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Old Trafford

First Game Attended: Plymouth at home in 1988
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Brian Deane
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Home game against Brighton, won 5-4 with a last minute John Francis diving header. Incredible game.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Michael Brown vs the Pigs
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium):The Valley in the Prem.
Online banking details including passwords and security question information (only kidding :D).

First Game Attended: Blades 4 - 2 Chelsea at the end of the 1992-93 season. Whitehouse scored a couple and I think Andy Scott scored in his debut

Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): David Holdsworth.

Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Blades 1 -1 Coventry, Blades won 3-1 on Penalties. I ahve a big scar down my shin from celebrating Holdsworth's equaliser.

Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): To avoid talking about the same man too much, Whitehouse against West Ham. This was my first night match and we were 2-0 down. Whitehouse scored an absolute belter an Brian Gayle and Paul Rogers completed the turnaround.

Best away ground you have been to: Gresty Road. Saw us win 3-1 there in the promotion season. Also really liked Vicarage Road the same year.

1. 4-1 win v Luton on a rainy Easter Saturday in 1978.
2. King Keith
3. 2-0 win vs Wednesday in 1991-2
4. Steve Wigley v Blackburn Rovers, November 1985
5. Old Trafford (not my favourite, but probably the best)

First game attended: Blades 5 - 0 Bolton (31/12/83) Colin Morris hat-trick
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Simon Tracey
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Blades 2 - 1 Man Utd (FA Cup 5th round 1993)
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Either Michael Tonge's 2nd against Liverpool in the League Cup semi-final 2003 or Bobby Davison's second against Wednesday in the 3-1 win in 1992
Best away ground you have been to (not Wembley or Millenium Stadium): Stadium of Light or Anfield

Just for the record, deciding to ask my girlfriend to be my wife, and actually proposing are two different things altogether.

Back then, you had to ask her mother, her father, her sister, her first uncle, her second uncle, her third uncle, her first aunty, her second aunty, and her third aunty (get my drift) for THEIR approval, well before approaching the maid herself!!!!!

1. Leeds 1-1 I think 2006
2.chris Morgan
3. 2-0 Charlton Fa cup quarters
4. Keith Gillespie vs Charlton in premier league
5. This is where it gets really hard but I've been to a lot of appalling grounds . I can't think of one

1. Crystal Palace April 1973 W 2-0 (Dearden and Bone)
2. TC
3. Forest Play-Off Semi.
4. Browny v Pigs
5. The Emirates or Loftus Road

First Game Attended: Watford at the Lane 1990 won 4-1
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Glyn Hodges
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): There are so many ;) Beating Man u at the lane in the cup
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Brown against pigs
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Emirates (cushioned seats :D) if its beat away ground in terms of game Rochdale a few seasons ago was a great away day.

First game attended was a night match against Leeds United circa 1974

Favourite Blades player (seen in the flesh) The one and only TC with Woody and Brownie (just for the joy of that season) as close seconds.

Favourite Blades game of all time (attended) The Forest play off semi. It had a bit of everything and was a truly magical night.

Favourite Blades goal (witnessed) Jags against Leeds, in the words of the great Derek Dooley "I was thinking go on lad shoot, no don't you're too far out"!

Favourite away ground, probably the Anfield for the Atmosphere, but its hard, nowhere matches up to the Lane!

1956:opponents not known.

Alan Woodward, special mention Brian Deane.

v Arsenal 1973 won 5-0, night match, watched it from cricket pavilion with baby daughter in my arms as we had no babysitter available. Currie sat on the ball copying Alan Ball's mickey-take two seasons earlier when they beat us 5-0.

Brian Deane's toe flick over his shoulder Bramall Lane end, opponents unknown, sublime skill from such a tall player and he did it more than once.

Goodison Park in the 60's.

First Game Attended: Not actually sure as I was quite young (late 80's and at the time I wasnt that interested in watching football)

Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Bizarely I would have to Say Mitch Ward (I guess it was the Blackburn Game in the Quarter Finals where he scored 2 equalisers and scored a penalty, although I was watching on TV I think that was when the bug really bit)

Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Nottingham Forest Play Off Semi - that was a special night.

Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): there are too Many from Dellas's Thunder Bolt, Brown's volley, Morgan's Overhead kick vs Forest, saunders cheeky goal, but I suppose the most memorable one will always be Peschi's against Forest in the Play off Semi.....OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD

Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): I would say Manchester City's Ethiad's stadium or Emirates (the seats were really comfortable)

OR you got her pregnant and everything else took care of itself.

1. First Game Attended: Huddersfield Town, 0-0, 23rd August, 1969

2. Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Tony Currie

3. Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Darlington, 15th May, 1982

4. Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Steve Wigley, vs Blackburn Rovers, 16th November, 1985

5. Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Highbury.

Notes:
1. all i can remember is: sunny day, BLUT, John Tudor hitting bar with header, and "wow! this is a real togger match"
2. Difficult to seperate from Woodward.. had to pick one of them though.... (first hero was Dave Powell)
3. There were games in 70/71 and 71/72 and 74/75 that were fantastic, but Darlo was "rebirth".
4. Best goal I've ever seen. Full Stop.
5. Don't like modern grounds so won't include them. Old grounds had a smell, a feel, an atmosphere. Victoria Ground, Anfield, Old Trafford, Maine Road.. before they were converted to all-seaters or knocked down. Then there's the smaller places with character - Deepdale, Burnden Park, Leeds Road, etc that had something about them. Highbury was a strange place but had something about it.

Brian Deane's toe flick over his shoulder Bramall Lane end, opponents unknown, sublime skill from such a tall player and he did it more than once.

He did it twice that season - proving it was no fluke - I think the first was against Chester, the second against Fulham.. ??? Silent may have a better memory (though they'll be on the season's video review).

First Game Attended: My dad said "it was against Blackpool when I was four" (probably the 1-0 defeat on Easter Monday 1966), he did take me to a few more in the late 1960s but I was more of a nuisance rather than watching the game properly. My first as a committed Blade was the 2-0 win v Preston on Jan 17th 1970
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): TC and Woody
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): 5-1 v Cardiff on 27th April 1971 in front of nearly 43,000 crowd
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Michael Brown v Wendy January 2003
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Old Trafford especially in 1973 (twice!)

First Game Attended: 1-1 v Hull at Lane on Jan 19 1980 - Len de Goey (pornstar) scored
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Difficult one, it was Tony Kenworthy, then Deano.
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): So many to choose from but either 2-0 v Owls in 1991 or 2-1 v Man Utd FA Cup 1993
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Too many to choose from, up there would be Hodges chip over Schmeichel in FA Cup game above and possibly even Scougall's goal in the semi v Hull meaning we were in dreamland at half time, thinking, this is the blades we are watching isn't it?
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Got to be Notts County as I've been 3 times! hahaha! no, probably Molyneux as it was very well organised getting out and getting home, circa 1994/95.

First Game Attended: I am 60 you know as if I can remember that
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh):
Woodward
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Cup quarter final Blades V Coventry C just because it was a really tough game against a very good at the time City
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): See my first answer
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Old Trafford, just a horrible journey by car though.

First Game Attended: 5th September 1959 Sheffield United 2-1 Liverpool
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Derek Pace
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): 27 Apr 1971 Sheffield United 5-1 Cardiff City
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): A quality goal by a quality player - TC v West Ham
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium) - Highbury

First Game Attended: Blades 1 Charlton 0, 15/4/78.
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Keith Edwards.
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): Darlington 0 Blades 2, 15/5/82.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Bobby Atkins at Rotherham, ?/84?
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Roker Park, Sunderland (not seen United there, mind).

First Game Attended: 7-3 v Northampton Town. 1981-82 season, i was 4 years old and remember almost nothing about it apart from the fact my Grandad took me, and it is still the highest scoring game i have attended. There must be something in the family where the first game you attend is a high scoring game because Brownie Jnr's first game was a 5-3 win v Bournemouth 3 seasons ago.
Favourite Blades player of all time (that you have seen in the flesh): Michael Brown, just for one magical season where he scored 4 or 5 absolutely world class goals.
Favourite Blades game of all time (that you attended): 4-3 v Nottingham Forest, Play-Offs 2002/03. That game had the lot, drama, tension, it ebbed and flowed and it was probably the most amazing and exhilarating game that i have ever been to. Probably the only game where i have ever been in pissed, and came out sober due to the amount of adreneline flowing that night.
Favourite Blades goal of all time (that you witnessed): Michael Brown v The Pigs. Seems to be a recurring theme that 3 of the 5 categories all come from the same season, but it there was that many good memories made that season. That goal had it all, sublime skill, thunderous power, and it would have been up there as my all time favourite but it was just who it was scored against that makes it. He scored a carbon coby the week after in the Cup against Ipswich that rarely gets mentioned, but came 2nd in the goal of the season from the FA Cup.
Best away ground you have been to (not wembley or millenium stadium): Mine has got to be Highbury, went there twice, and it had an atmosphere that was completely different to any other football ground i have ever been to. The closest thing to a footballing stately home. Conversely i always enjoyed away days at Millmoor, a proper old school muck and nettles ground where the crowd seems a lot louder than they actually was. Always enjoyed any London trip, especially The Valley, and White Hart Lane as well.
