First off. Never a sending off in a million years it was in front of us and he got the ball. Their lad then followed through on BT and was late and hurt himself 50 -50 ball at worse and if their was someone at fault it was their lad. Noble was constantly fouling and I think wasnt booked or if he was it wasnt till late.

If I see it again then I may change my mind but at the time I thought it was 50 /50 as did my Exeter mate at the side of me. Now we may live to regret not bringing more cover up front in. I know we got Hoskins but injury and suspensions (as well as ched) have left us shy up top. Anyone know if we have any reserves who could step up? Philliskirk is the ony one I can think of

Th depressing thing is, if Cressie doesn't get over his shoulder injury, then we may go into a playoff final (Should we get that far) with only Chris Porter to choose from.

Our signings must improve. I hope we'll have a better budget when we've ousted some high earners. But sticking with the likes of Beattie in case we buy a duff defies all logic to me.

Walker and Naughton spent yonks in the acadamy and reserves under watchful eyes proving themselves before being introduced slowly into the first team. We dont have another Walker or Naughton, unless someones going to surprise us, and we certainly dont have the luxury of blooding anyone slowly. The only way to do that is to find someone with potential and pair him with a seasoned centre forward, to play off him and do the running around. See where I'm going??????

Deane was a good up and coming striker at Donny when we signed him. Dave Basset had already unearthed Agana for Watford and knew he was going to be a good un and signed him for the Blades.

I'll chuck this one into the hat for something to think about. Considering how much DW had brought Ched Evns on and turned him into the goal machine that he was, what might he have done for a one Billy Sharpe????????

It seems your only argument for offering a 34 year old striker (who hasn't scored for 2 YEARS), a contract is that you don't believe we could sign any better, based on O'Hallorhan. Am I missing some other point, becuase if not we might as well pack up?
