The Yorkshire leg of the Masters Football Cup will return to Sheffield Arena on Sunday 25th July.

The Selco Builders Warehouse Yorksire Masters returns to the Sheffield Arena with 6 of the best teams in the region ready to battle it out for the Yorkshire Masters title and the chance to qualify for September’s Grand Final.

Barnsley return as Yorkshire champions and are eager to hang on to their title. However, they face stiff competition from the two Steel City teams, Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United, the return of Doncaster and Hull with a point to prove and Huddersfield, who are making their Masters debut.

Come and see teams packed full of stars including the likes of Benito Carbone, Michael Johnson, Wayne Allison, Dean Gorre, Clyde Wijnhard, Nigel Jemson, Carl Bradshaw and Scott Sellars in what promises to be a fantastic night of entertainment.

I went to the inagural tournament in summer 2000, and I've been about twice since, plus seen a couple on the TV. I think its well past its sell by date now.
