Back on topic; I read through the Reading fans’ views on Meite that, I think,
Bergen Blade posted (apologies if it was somebody else, it was long, long ago when we were discussing the potential signing and all that.) Most of them were positive and a few of them said Meite would be good for the McGoldrick role. I have never noticed him in a game as I only really focus on our players. Is this a decent idea of what type of player he is; but thank Christ he seems to be able to score a goal, or is it just the Reading fans not really knowing McGoldrick’s role in our system as they probably don’t watch us that often?
If we could get a 24 year old quick, powerful, hard working McG replacement with good potential and goals to bring, I’m all for it.
Apologies for going back to the Meite discussion, I know some of you were having fun.
By the way, I reckon it’s pronounced My-tay. A bit like “the Mighty Blades” but with more emphasis on the “tay” bit. Unless it’s like the cocktail; is it a Mai Tai? Something like that, anyway.
