I think he'd be nuts to come back. Not just for football reasons.
After 30 odd years of going to France on holiday, mainly in the south, I know where I'd rather live. Quality of life, house prices, weather, space (a much bigger country with a smaller population).
Before anyone says "go and do it then", you can't do that anymore due to an event that happened in June 2016. I couldn't do it before because of work, money etc.

Why do we do this to ourselves? On top of everything else we’re brassic we need to get that into our heads
