From experience especially with WWF, it is a waste of time replying to a paranoid DM because they will always want the last word. I dont know you personally but I find it irritable to read someone who is always looking for faults with the club and the manager. I would understand if we were near the bottom of the table.

I may know you personally but I can read your character easily, someone who is always moaning about the same things over and over again.

Yes, we all are Blades but since 1976, I see us a top 10 team in the 2nd tier but still always still go to the Lane regularly. I prefer not to listen to someone who is always negative about the club

I do agree with him tho. As far as I can see CaptainMorgans has never personally attacked you and the majority of his posts seem well thought out.

If it's true he's sent you a DM to sort things out and you've ignored it only to then publicly point fingers at him... Then I think you owe him an apology.
 
We are just having a sticky patch. Better to have it now, whilst there is still so much of the season to go.

If we do start to really fall away from the top spots, then we can look at this seriously, but right now he is still the best man for the job.

Come on, mate. You're better than this.
You know nothing about me and my character. I've reached out to people on this forum over private matters in the past and tried to offer them support and guidance where I can. I've been knocking about this place since I was a 21 year old student and I'm a married man at 32 now.
I've actually offered up quite a lot of myself as a person to this forum. I don't know what assumptions you've made about me but they're all probably wrong.

We have different views sometimes about the football. That's the extent of it.
You seem a bit emotional tonight so I'm going to leave it here.

Sorry no I couldn't it was a reply to my post personally.
All I said was the doubts that I had at the start of his appointment (which I voiced on here at the time of his appointment) are starting to creep back in.
 



Hecky definitely out If if Dyche became a real option imo....

Otherwise give him till the end of the season,

Seems slow at making decisions & starting to waffle quite a bit on interviews.

Gerrim out then if hes waffling on interviews and tekin a few minutes too long to mek subs..
 
If he fails to get us promotion with the squad he has then it’s a fail.

His team selection today was baffling

Absolutely! We’ve dropped to 2nd now so hecky skating on thin ice 😡 particularly if a certain angry ginger was waiting in the wings, he’d be perfect for us & very straight talking on interviews 😂

I personally don’t think he’s up to it when the going gets tough. A 3-3 against them is not good enough. We didn’t even start until it was vs 9 men. He looks tactically inept. Today the reactions were so slow and that’s the tip of the iceberg.

Thought I'd add this isn't me saying get Dyche in but he's the only one out there I'd be happy with. We're top of league only lost 3 other teams are dropping points all over as well. This league will start to really take shape after the world Cup.

I think he's done a fantastic job and is an excellent fit for the weird structure we have in place

I think he's great at everything outside of in game tactical adjustments (how wide the midfield 3 was spread yesterday had Norwood 1v 2 and even 3 for an hour so we list every 2nd ball. If I can see that, surely he should). Also, I question how much he plays certain players regardless

Definitely keep him but I'd like to see him start to have more impact in how we change set up in game.
 
He deserves this season at least. I think on a results basis hes done well but i think our style of play is poor/basic at times and would always be open to a manager with a better footballing philosophy (but not yet). Considering our squad we shouldnt still be hoofing and struggling to string 3/4 passes together against Blackpool, Brum etc (no disrespect). Injuries have played a part in this but as manager he should be looking at better ball retention and playing with more purpose. If we are panicking against the likes of blackpool how the hell do we expect to compete in the league above.
 



If you strongly feel a manager isn't good enough to succeed but he isn't failing catastrophically enough to easily justify a sacking...... what should you do?

Be bold and look to make a change or let the 'it could be worse' attitude prevail and hope that he proves you wrong?

It's easier to do the latter.... but then the manager stays in the job until the inevitable ultimate failure, and you've wasted a full season or more. That seems really stupid and wasteful

I think we have this situation or are least will before long, but I don't think for a moment we'll sack PH
