Would you swap a sandwich for a sausage roll?

Turn right, then right again and keep going right
Hypothetically speaking, or pathetically speaking as some will probably say; If we remain in the Championship next season and Danny Rohl becomes available, would you get him in to replace Wilder? Why? Why not? Discuss. Broaden the discussion even to, if we somehow get promoted, would you swap? Plenty on here have suggested binning Wilder off, even if we go up, in favour of a more 'cultured', 'continental' coach. Sarnie or a Rohl?

I wouldn't have the wanker anywhere near the Lane. He has the stench of pigs surrounding him, his fashion sense is completely fucked and he just looks like a little weasel. He's a fucking wank manager and the only reason we've heard of him is because he manages in the same city. Anywhere else and it'd be 'Sausage who'?

Oh and as an aside, I live in the States and you can't get sausage rolls here where I am. Luckily, we have family visiting tonight so you've guessed it, the wife is making sausage rolls, chips and gravy for tea. GET the fuck in 👊👊👊

It's only a matter of time until he gets a job in the Premier League or the Bundesliga. We'll see then how he does in a more high profile environment.
He clearly knows what he's doing tactically, and his man management seems to be fine too otherwise he probably wouldn't have been able to stabilise a relegation candidate while at the same time having to deal with their batshit crazy owner.

To answer the question, of course I would take him. He's exactly the type of manager this club should be looking for.

Wilderwang out played him tactically twice this season. Not a great endorsement given his current tactical ability.

This is where Wilder has strength, pashun games, not must win promotion games, not games we should be winning easy but raw pashun.

Pigs Double, any Blades dream, pashun
Coventry, hate after being roughed over and cheated at theirs by Bassete
Middlesborough, Old club rolled us at theirs, pashun kicked in at Lane

They are our only good performances this season, rest have been scrappy wins.

No Rohl for him here. Shoes off in the car park if it comes to pass.

I disagree with his man management, don't think he has it to get them up for big games or give the hairdryer treatment imho.

I'd prefer to look at Steve Cooper (unattached) Jimmy Thelin (Aberdeen) or Frank Schmidt (got FC Heidenheim up from the 5th division in Germany all the way to the Bundesliga and speaks English fluently)

Emperor’s new clothes. He is just one of about 12 mediocre managers doing an ok job in the middle of the division, after the great escape aided and abetted by some absolutely abysmal performances of the teams around them last season. Has the worst home record in the league this season. As I have said before, is totally incapable of having two good halves of a game, but has members of the blue and white cult spinning it as incredible in-game nous.

Emperor’s new clothes.
Exactly this. If they hadn't had the worst manager in the history of the Championship before Rohl, then I don't think many would be thinking he's as amazing as they seemingly do.

In terms of championship record, it'd be on a par with having Hecky back and we've seen how that story ends...

Am I the only one that thinks he's done well but not that well?

He's young and has a good career ahead of him. But how good remains to be seen.
I feel we've seen the best prospect managers before in the championship get smoke blown up their arse. And yeah for some they go on to high profile jobs and do well.

Most however end up back in the champ or often lower.

With Rohl I wouldn't be surprised if he may end up in the camp of having a few more managerial jobs and end up back as an assistant. His tactic's and coaching appears to be good. But he's still very young in terms of being a manager.

Explain to me what he's won...

They have zeroed in on him being the lovechild of prime Pep and Mourinho, but brought up by Ancellotti, purely because a) he won a few games and b) well, it’s what they do.

I've genuinely no grudge against Rohl. I think it's hilarious the way those in S6 talk of him like he's the leader of leaders but he's turned up, tried to do a job and been given a circus to do it with. On the same note I am one of Wilders critics, in fact I originally said I didn't really think it was a good idea to have him back, similarly I've given him his praise where he's deserved it and even despite the recent shit shows I can't argue he's done well. Can we argue he's out of his depth in the PL? Well that's a whole other topic.

To answer your original question, would I want to replace Wilder, a time served manager with god knows how many manager of month awards, all his accolades and experience (albeit a stubborn cunt) with a fairly new manager who's so new he has quite literally piss all to show for his efforts? No, I wouldn't.

Steve Cooper for me. Attacking football, done it before in this league and still available.

Is that the Steve Cooper that spent 200 Million at Forest and then got sacked after 1 win in 13 games?
Then spunked away a few million more a Leicester to win 2 in 12 and get sacked again.
The money spent by Wilder is peanuts in comparison.

Nah, it’s that Steve cooper that got 200 million of players purchased for him. That one that had minimal say in any players purchased.

Can I have some of what you're having?

And what sort of performances was he able to coax out of that £200 million team?
Poor ones. Give him £200 Million to spend on his own players, and I’d be pretty certain he’d get a better performance out of them.

I wouldn't be so sure. He spent 20 million on Oliver Skipp who can't even get a start at Leicester.

Mid table budget and he’s achieved mid table, no better than Wilder achieving 3rd with a top 3 budget.

Why would we swap one divisive figure for another..fuck me..we need to be UNITED
.

You can if you want. It's Weetabix at the moment. 3. Late breakfast.

I'll repeat what I said to someone further up, for the hard of reading - I think you're confusing me with someone who's advocating it. I've just asked the question, after reading a couple of posts on here alluding to it. Ok?
